First and almost certainly last visit to this celebrated Greek chef's restaurant. The starters were interesting (set menu) but the mix of ingredients had a nasty effect on both of our stomachs. By the time the first main dish came we were feeling quesy and...could only manage a bite or two. The second main dish was appalling. We left it almost untouched, skipped the rest of the menu and went straight home to recuperate. Horid and expensive experience. Pity.More

If you think you are going to this place to experience high end cousine, you are wrong. And how would you know since you have not visited it yet. That's why I am writing this to save you a disappointment.Food of no taste and substance but only pretension...and a menu full of deception. The duck flew away the pappardelle and in the place of calf's tail you will literally find three or four shreds of some kind of chewy meat... Stay away.More

Top Greek Food Experience accompanied by Great Greek wines, As a lover of the Program, Nightmare in the kitchen which we used to watch, even abroad. It was about time to try Mr Botrini’s own kitchen, not a nightmare but a dream. Lovely food and...very original combinations. Very nice waiters and sommelier.More

We found a nice pleasant welcome. Good was great with very good matching wine mainly Greek(only port from Portugal and was served in wrong glass-Christmas and not enough port glasses we were told , we wondered for the reason of the different glass choice) We...would choose the best wine of the evening as Estate Sntonopoulos s chaos 2013 mix of Syrah and Merlot (50%-50%) very nice wine, could probably also Mature well. And the Samos desert wine which is always a good choice. Even though we tackled the chef with a few limitations, the dishes were adjusted very nice. Food was great, only one dish was not eaten due to late service Pasta arrived cold to the table. We come here to the weakness of the place-for the price we paid the service was not good enough , I could even say not professional , very unprofessional waiters, who do not understand fine dining-after an amazing dish which was served off a branch of Herbs We got towels to clean our fingers, they were put in a bowl where water were supposed to be poured over them, we had to explain the waiter to add water so the unwoiven fabric towels will be usable.. after we finished using as there was no where to put the towels we put them on the bread plate.. the waiter collected it from the plate without changing it. It would have been suggested moving the plate all together from the table rather than having food served on the place with the hand cleaning perfume.. (Like the one you get in the plan) Chef/owner came to the table and gave very personal feel, with explanation to the ideas behind the dishes. Very well equipped kitchen although we noticed they work with paper bones... All together a good set meal with very good wine selection taking that it was Christmas Eve price could be justified but on a regular day I wouldn’t justify the price. I would recommend trying , let them choose the matching wines.More

Botrini’s is an outstanding restaurant. The Michelin star is well deserved. And they are likely to get a second one. The food is creative and cooked to perfection. Ettore is clearly on top of things: the team in the kitchen and the dining room are...efficient and helpful. The food is well priced for what it is. An area that I personally would suggest that Botrini’s review: the mark up on the wine list.More

Yesterday evening I went with my wife to Botrini's. I just wanted to go somewhere to relax, and have a good tasty time. The decoration is what is expected, a relaxing atmosphere, very friendly personnel, and music at a level which allows conversation at a...low voice level. The menu is not extensive, a small number of appetizers, first dishes, second dishes and deserts, as it is supposed to be (I avoid places with extensive menus). Before the appetizers, the house invited three different "treats", one better than the other. Please do not ask me, I cannot retain their names, but the three of them were delicious. For appetizers we ordered the octopus in its environment and the royal a la greque. By the way, the sommelier was very helpful, and his choice of wine for what we ordered could not be more precise. For main course we had the pasta benedetto cavalieri and the Corfu bourdetto. In general, Chef Botrini honors his Corfu roots in his dishes. We did not have desert, because simply there was no more space. We had espresso to help us get back home. Fortunately we live nearby. The place has delicate tastes, and surely I will be back soon. For the level of service, the quality of the foods and the fact that they may have about twice the personnel you may find in other similar restaurants, the check had a very fair number. I am a consumer that wants both excellent service and excellent quality. Usually I leave a 10% tip, this time, I left 20% because the guys really deserved it.More
