We were here with my buisness partner from Slovenia. We orderer 15 hourses journey menu. Amazing, this was incredible experience. I will reccomend this restaurant because from my opinion this is a restaurant for 2 michelin stars. The owner and chef Ettore is the best...chef.More

We loved the meal and service. The pappardelle, slow-cooked lamb, swordfish, all tasty, creative and well prepared. Service was exceptional. The sommelier made a recommendation on the wine and had a understanding of what we wanted. The restaurant was about a 30 minute drive from...central Athens, but it was well worth it.More

My wife and I had an amazing time here. The food exceeded our expectations and the service was absolutely delightful ( ask for Ksenia Martinou, her wine recommendations were fantastic). If you want a romantic setting with a culinary crescendo, you will not regret eating...here. The food and wine was only exceeded by the excellent service!More

Excellent food and super helpful and charming head waitress and sommelier. We took the 12 course menu at €90 (you can have 14 courses for a higher price). Many courses are very small so it’s manageable. From the first small course (macaroon with wild mushrooms)...the food was first rate and surely worthy of a second Michelin star. The only slight adverse comment is that we found the pappardelle with duck and truffle slightly salty for our taste. We sat in the open air covered area (at night) which is lovely. Other options: outside uncovered or inside.More

The 14 course tasting menu was superb with an esthetic presentation. The matching wine pairing was unusual and well conceived. The garden setting and friendly staff made for a lovely evening.

I have decided to give Botrini a second chance. However, this review is honest and serve as a reminder even a Michelin star restaurant can face issues. Saturday June 19 started out great. We managed to book a table at Botrini the same day and...was welcomed to a full restaurant. The tables are beautifully situated in the outdoor garden secluded by park like vegetation. There were a few bugs flying around, which must be accepted given the fact you are dining in the "garden". We quickly came to realize the restaurant had either a lack of staff this day or had reached the maximum capacity. The service was excellent in terms of professionalism but there were a few hicups that made an impact on our overall impression. The wine we ordered came only after the third dish after several requests to get the wine served. The waitress managed to pour wine from the neighbouring table to our glasses at one time. The glasses were not refilled for water nor wine until I took matters in my own hands, litterarily. In the end the hostess apologized for the somewhat chaotic service and the mistakes that were made (pouring wrong wine) and offered a compensation in form of an adittional dessert and dessert wine. I do hope, and it seems like from other reviews, we were just unlucky with the staff being overworked that evening. This being said, the food was great and I would like to come back in order to get a second opinion on the overall experience.More

After a rather disappointing dinner at a 2 Michelin star restaurant in Athens, my hopes for Bottini’s restaurant weren’t particularly up. I was proven wrong. The combination of the super attentive and friendly staff, the atmosphere at this ultra-modern restaurant and the superb quality of...the food which with its combinations hits every spot in your pallet, made this a night to remember. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Athens, and one of the best I’ve ever been to internationally. One of the most delightful places to eat.More

We are on a mission to explore the Michelin stars of Athens. Botrini's has a nice garden setting but had quite a lot of mosquitos. The tables were far enough to feel secure from Covid and also it provided us extra relief incase our 5...month old starts to get cranky. We chose the Travelers menu which samples from different parts of Greece. The story was well executed with good presentations. However the pieces were predictable. For a 1 star level restaurant I would expect more ingenuity and element of surprise, less than half of the menu was innovative. Overall, everything was very well done and tasty. As the restaurant started to get crowded, our waitress forgot about us. So much so that, we waited for the last item for 1 hour. I learned that Chef Botrini is famous for Greek Hells Kitchen, I wonder what he would do if he was in our shoes?!More

Located in Halandri, it was a nightmare with the traffic at 7pm. Get going 40-50 min in advance from Syntagma. Arrival experience - great! Welcoming, friendly. Food - creative concepts were really good, some of the flavours even excellent and the textures were really nicely...balanced. Loved the bread, lamb, squid carbonara and the mushroom macaroon. Dessert was awesome! Service - spectacular! Highly recommendedMore

The starters were good but nothing special. The signature (pasta) dish was too salted. The experience was ok. Nothing special. We had the Ploes menu. The restaurant staff were fantastic- well trained.

High quality food and great service. Cosy and elegant enviroment. Lovely food with imagination that reveal skills, technique and dreamy combinations. The raw material is fresh and of high quality. One should not miss to try herring and the scallops that are off the charts....Both starters are delicious as is the carob bread. The pina colada dessert is light and ethereal with lovely creamy texture , freshness and delicious notes of peach and mango followed by lingering notes of chocolate and vanilla sorbet.More

My husband booked this as his birthday treat whilst visiting Athens for a few nights. The set up & style of the restaurant is very LA, a bit flashy with a pretentious feel. Thankfully this was not reflected in the service. The staff were charming...& friendly. The tasting menu was fine but lacked the wow factor you would expect from a Michelin restaurant. The wine pairing was unmemorable. We ate at CTC the night before which was exactly the same cost for the tasting menu & wine pairing however the food was of a much higher standard (and doesn’t hold a star) Hard to recommend this one if you’re a foodie, sorry!More

First and almost certainly last visit to this celebrated Greek chef's restaurant. The starters were interesting (set menu) but the mix of ingredients had a nasty effect on both of our stomachs. By the time the first main dish came we were feeling quesy and...could only manage a bite or two. The second main dish was appalling. We left it almost untouched, skipped the rest of the menu and went straight home to recuperate. Horid and expensive experience. Pity.More

If you think you are going to this place to experience high end cousine, you are wrong. And how would you know since you have not visited it yet. That's why I am writing this to save you a disappointment.Food of no taste and substance but only pretension...and a menu full of deception. The duck flew away the pappardelle and in the place of calf's tail you will literally find three or four shreds of some kind of chewy meat... Stay away.More
