We live local to spoons and it has become one of our favorite places to eat. The atmosphere is amazing, set in an old building in the heart of downtown McKinney. The food is above average. I've not had everything on the menu, but everything I've had has been pretty dang good. The service is usually good, sometimes great if... More

Atmosphere is quaint, the service was good, the food was average and a little over-priced. Busy on the weekends, especially for breakfast.

We ate breakfast here right as they opened. The food and service were both pretty good. One in our group ordered pancakes and they looked yummy. There was also a buffet. It was a pretty small dining room. It did have an eclectic look and feel.

I met a friend here for breakfast, it was busy but we were seated in a timely manner. There are a variety of items to choose from on the menu. The waffles are awesome. cant wait to dine again for lunch or dinner. You can sit on the patio and enjoy the sites of downtown McKinney.

We ate breakfast at The Spoons on Christmas Eve. The staff were all wearing Christmas PJs and Santa made a surprise visit. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back.

I went there last weekend when visiting some friends in Frisco TX. We had tried before and didn't get a seat. Not sure if they expanded since then but when there was no room in the diner, we were offered "The Garage" with the words "It's not as bad as it sounds". Um actually, yes it is. You go through... Planning on moving to Prosper so we decided to grab some dinner in downtown McKinney. The place was packed as there was a festival going on that Saturday after Thanksgiving. Most of the reviews were about breakfast but decided to give it a try anyway. The wait was about average, the food was pretty good and the prices were fair.... More

We scheduled the wedding rehearsal dinner here. The group was about 30 people. We left the menu open. The wait staff of 2 were professional, friendly and quick. Everyone enjoyed the food, especially the desserts. I recommend this place and will be back.

We had to wait about half an hour for a table on a Saturday, but it was worth the wait. Our food was all very good and our waitress was excellent, despite being busy with many tables. We would definitely dine here again.

Spoons is a really good place to get breakfast. In a world fraught with sugary, whipped creamy, you-can't-even-recognize-what-the-heck-this-stuff-is, the simplicity of eggs, bacon, sausage, chorizo and pancakes makes you feel like you've found old acquaintances. The portions are huge. You my be taking some home with you. The breakfast taco and the Migas are two staples you should try. The... More
