We enjoyed sitting on the patio on a beautiful day in downtown McKinney. My son and his girlfriend ordered the red snapper and thought it was awesome! The fish tacos were alright but rice on the side was amazing!

We wanted something Cajun so we decided to hit downtown McKinney and head to Bayou Jacks, Came in about 6:30, slightly crowded but got seated right away. I ordered the Crawfish Etouffe and my wife the fried catfish w/shrimp & Cajun fries. Both meals were good and wait staff was efficient. Many things on menu we want to try next... More

We have always supported this place and enjoyed the food. The staff is normally pretty attentive. On Sunday the 19th we showed up for dinner and could not get waited on (after they put together 2 tables for us). We walked out and the staff did not give a damn. I guess we be forced to go to Razoo's now... More

This is one of favorite Cajun restaurants. The staff is super friendly and the food is always hot, fresh and tasty. The gumbo is good and not too spicy with plenty of shrimp, chicken and sausage. The shrimp or crawfish queso is a must have. regardless of what you get on the menu you cant go wrong.

This is our weekly go to restaurant. Casual family restaurant. Their boiled crawfish and shrimp grits are the best in the area. I love their calamari and Greek salad. Everything is good except for the jambalaya. We love taking our dogs and sitting on the outdoor patio watching the people go by and having a leisurely dinner or lunch. Their... More

A very casual place with a New Orleans/Cajun menu. The grilled oysters were very good, as were the red beans and the fried shrimp.

The wait staff is very friendly. The food was well seasoned and not over cooked. I enjoyed the blackened catfish and shrimp along with sauteed crab cake appetizer. Looking forward to returning for shrimp ceviche and jambalaya.

also their ettouffee' was pretty good. They seem to have drink specials and the atmosphere was decent. If you're downtown and need cajun, then this is your place.
