Atmosphere is similar to many places I have been to in El Paso. Friendly staff. Food is decent in pricing. Quantity could be greater, but fair. The only issue is how incredibly long it takes to receive anything.

Too bad there is such a terrible restaurant in downtown McKinney and how they remain open is a mystery to me.

So it is nothing fancy. But for real deal Mexican breakfast- this is the place. I am pretty sure it is a single grandmother actually cooking for you the way she cooks for her family back in the kitchen- with love and awesomeness. This is a weekend favorite for my Hispanic/California born husband and our entire family! A true gem!

The food is EXCELLENT. They must have the best, authentic chef in the back. I really enjoy my meal every time I visit this restaurant. The service is always good. It is super affordable. We love to visit here every time we are in McKinney.

This place is just like the typical family owned restaurants you find in South Texas. The food is fresh and authentic. Set your expectations to "good " and not "the best ever" and stick to the basics..you will not be disappointed. It's always a good thing to support a local family that works hard to serve good food. Give it... More

Our absolute favorite place for Tex Mex and authentic Mexican choices. The habanero (house) salsa is the best anywhere. The extensive menu is a great combination of tex-me and traditional Mexican dishes. It's located in the beautiful downtown historic district of McKinney,Tx. You can dine and then stroll for hours through all the boutiques, antique malls, art galleries, candy shops,... More

This is clearly a family-owned restaurant. On Sunday, the kids are hanging out, walking around, talking to moms, going in and out of the kitchen. I had burritos compuestos, which were more like enchiladas than I expected. A large portion. They were fine. Nothing special, however. The chile con carne that smothered them could've come out of a Hormel's can.... More

My wife and I love Mexican food. We eat it, we cook it, we seek it out. Surely with a name like Juarez it's got to be good. NOT SO! The tamalei was soggy and had some unidentifiable Skin or connecting tissue inside. It was all I could do not to gag. The beans were nothing more than Pinto mush... More

Ok let me start this by saying if you are looking for up-scale decor, and fancy decorations, this is not your place. BUT, If you want real, good old fashioned Texas syle Mexican food, the kind you remi\ember from High school (if you were lucky enough to be a real Texan), this is the place in McKinney to go to....
