the food was good - but the restaurant is old so for me it had that aged/ old time scent that I don't want smell when I'm eating. Its CASH ONLY so be prepared but its moderately priced and they have an ATM :-) Its uniquely shaped in that they have expanded what once was a small restaurant in what... More

I go to Bill Smiths at every opportunity. Breakfast simply cannot be beat, period. Bacon, sausage, ham, eggs, biscuits and gravy it's all here. Traditional Texas cooking served by the friendliest ladies in the state of Texas.

As holiday makers from Scotland we wanted to go to a typical American diner and we found that in Bill Smiths Cafe. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good. I had the ham steak which was so big it hung over the side!!! Son had the hash brown special and he loved it. Wife and daughter had the... More

The only positive I can say after three (and final) visits is that service is consistently good. Waitresses are all friendly and effective with a "tag team" approach. Food quality is average to below average. Prices are good but repeat....if you only want average (read boring) breakfast food in a crowded, noisy and old, tired and unkempt place, then head... More

Bill Smith's is our favorite breakfast restaurant. Great food and reasonable prices make it a winner for us, and they even serve lunch, with a special every day.

We decided to go to Bill Smith's because it was a local favorite. When you arrive you seat yourself, the place was full on a Sunday morning around 11......we had to go to the back to find a place that was ok. Waitress was nice took our drink orders and brought us our menu. My husband and I chose the... More

Don't go for breakfast after about 9:00 a.m. The owner pulls the gravy out of the hot steam table and lets it cool. I had to call the health department and tell them about this practice.
