Onion rings to die for, great burgers with fresh local beef and a Grilled Salmon salad that is fab. Friendly service, delicious fresh food in a great spot on the square.

Best burger meat I've ever tasted. Love the freshness and lots of drink choices. Fries are also very good. It's not health food but it's real food that's really good. Great place for a casual date or family night.

Excellent burgers, both beef and other options (e.g. a great tuna), delicious TX sides, and a wide range and well selected draft beer menu. You can't go wrong at Square Burger.

I have been here twice in the last month and both times the food was great and the servers were very friendly. Love the beer selection. My only comment would be that the food takes a bit of time to come out, and it does so in a jerky jerky fashion so some folks are well into their meal while... More

This place was recommended by EVERYONE in the area but we didn't love it. We wanted to so badly. Our experience was that it was overpriced and was not the best burger. They are supposed to use local grass fed meat, etc. which is why we wanted to try, but the meat had a lot of seasoning and it just... More

If you want a great unique burger, this is the place to visit. Not your traditional burgers. Special select beef and homemade hamburger buns. The corner view lets you see what's happening on the square downtown.

This is one of the "go to" places in McKinney. What could be better - it is right downtown on the historic square with great shopping around; it is always clean, always bright, they are always friendly, and the food is always great. We've never had anything there that we don't love.

I lived in McKinney over 20 years ago and recently paid a visit to my brother who now lives in Allen. I took my son to Square Burger because I'd seen a televised segment on the "The Texas Bucket List". We arrived after 2:00 on a Saturday and it was still very busy. The location is beautiful as it sits... More

The staff is excellent and always willing to do a little extra. The food is great as I like their variety of burgers - Lamb, Turkey, Salmon to name a few. I have never had a bad meal there.

This is located in the quaint downtown area of Mckinney TX. The burgers aren't square but they are made from fresh local ingredients (including meat = butcher is approx 2 blocks away...and the meat is free of hormones/etc). These are not fast food burgers - the quality and taste found here cannot be compared. And don't forget to sample the sweet potatoe fries too. This is definitely worth the drive from Dallas...and is our very favorite burger place in the USA.
