We dined here for lunch. Order took a long time to come out of the kitchen. Our server was very attentive and helpful. So not her fault. Food was ok but nothing extra.

First things first, do not order a margarita. It was terrible and the drinks take forever to get to your table. Server was very young and very sweet. You could tell she was a little shy. Food took a while to get to the table....Which is kind of ok, unless you are actually hungry. I guess you know they took their time. It would be nice for a restaurant to offer rolls or some bread if they know their food service is slow. Food was really good. The views steal the show. Outstanding.More
Had lunch outside overlooking the water. We both ordered the pork chops as was highly recommended by our server, Victor. I must say best pork chops I've ever had. Awesome! Sides were great too: Green beans, fried okra & mashed potatoes. Service was great. Seated...right away, Victor was very good at his job, making sure we had all we needed and never let the tea glass empty. Will definitely return!More
Good food, nothing fancy, but good, reasonably priced comfort type food, excellent view, ask to be seated outside, if weather permits.
Thank you for your review. We hope to see you again soon.
We ate here twice during our two week stay in Marble Falls. Sat on the patio both times. Great Bloody Mary's!
LOVE that we kept you coming in for more!!! Hope to see you again your next time to Marble Falls!
Stopped for lunch while traveling back to Houston. Waited about 20 minutes for table and chose to eat outside over looking river. Lovey views and a great breeze. I had the grilled chichi salad, which was good, had a spring mix and fresh ingredients. The...chicken was good and not dry. My husband ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, which was good size and he thought very tasty. Fries were crispMore
Love to hear that you enjoyed the chicken salad and buffalo sandwich. Our views are definitely are to beat! We do hope you stop in again soon! Thank you for your review and business.
We have lived in Texas for over 30 years now and have only felt "unwelcome" a few places. This place was surprisingly one of them.
Very sorry to hear that. We hope you give us another chance in the future.
Seating and service was very prompt and friendly. Our orders were served hot and exactly as ordered with full plates! Margaritas were very good and a bargain!! The view of the river was beautiful. We shall be back!!
Awesome to hear, thank you!
Overall the food was good. It appears tables still social distanced. Food came quickly and correct. We ate near here a week ago and this food was so much better!
Thank you for your review.
The food was okay, waitress was great , girl who escorted us to the table not so much. Chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans , standard fare. My husbands tacos were so wet they dripped everywhere. Not sure if it was grease...or watery salsa or a combo of both? The view of the lake was pretty but the bridge traffic was really loud.More
Thank you for your feedback. We hope you have tried to give us another chance.
We got there at opening time so were able to secure a spot on the patio that overlooks the river. Great food, service and ambience.
Thank you for your review.
We have been here we deal times, and the food has Been consistently great. The grilled pork chop was grilled just right and the fried shrimp was delicious. When you go for supper, be sure to sit on the patio overlooking the lake and river....Just so serene to watch the sunset while enjoying your well prepared meal.More
Amazing to hear, thank you!
My wife had Dad’s chicken and I had the Ribeye Steak. Both were very good. I highly recommend the steak. They were shirt staffed as are so many restaurants and other small businesses these days. The staff on hand worked exceptionally well together.
Thank you for your kind words and business.
"Starts in the Kitchen" is the motto for this restaurant but it just did not work for us on Saturday. There are so many wonderful reviews of the River City Grille and I really wish I could add to these. But ... It began with...the manager telling me how hard the restaurant business is today. He was short staff and doing his best. Let me start with the men's bathroom - no paper towel and when I told staff, it was "yeah, we know ... it has been that way all day." My next thought was " wow, what does this tell me about the kitchen"/" The meal - my meal was very good. My wife ordered a pulled pork with no bread. My son, the "Monster Club Sandwich. Wife's pork came with a hamburger bun but that is no big deal ... just take off the bun. But my son's "monster club (their name for their club" came with no bread. Not the 3 layers of toasted bread ... no bread. Just ham, lettuce, and 1 slice of bacon. When I told the waitress, her solution was to take the hamburger bun and put it on the club. I told her to take it back and make it right. The manager then came out with a sandwich with 2 slices of bread - a club without the center toast, no mayonnaise, 1 slice of bacon. My wife gave me that look and I knew she did not want me to send it back. Then the manager told me this is the way he liked a club "without the center toast ... and the way they made it' ... and I wanted to scream, "I did not order it the way you like it". And then I thought of the men's bathroom - and I thought again of their motto - "starts in the kitchen" ... we ate and left ...More
