If you want a breakfast as good as home cooked this is the place to go. We will have to come back and try the pies they looked yummy but we were too full to try them at this time. I loved the old fashioned cafe feel.

There is an old saying "you can't go against your raising". I will hurt my mamas feelings when I say, Blue Bonnet Cafe put out the best biscuits and gravy ever! The service was exceptional and atmosphere was relaxing. My wife and I ordered the chicken fry steak breakfast. It was awesome! Wanted to try the pie but was to... More

This place tastes like home, pure and simple. It is cash only so be prepared. The line can be long at peak hours but it moves . It is a beautiful ride in the hill country for home cooking like my Granny's.

I think I could have drank a gallon of that brown gravy. Wow it is so yum yum. Pies oh yeah it is what they do. Wife had coconut creme... More

Stopped to have supper and dessert. The line was long but moved quickly. Food was plentiful tasty and filling. Didn't leave room for the pie but brought three different slices home. All of us enjoyed them the next day. My brother in law was a little disappointed as his was going to enjoy pecan but got chocolate instead...but he enjoyed... More

The chicken fry steak was huge for the small order. The salad is a spring mix instead of an iceberg salad. My daughter like the hamburger which is good considering she is a Whataburger eater only for bugers. The service was excellent. I wanted to try a slice of pie but was too full. I will try the next time... More
