Went for lunch on Sunday about 1:15 (they close on Sunday at 1:45) and the line outside the door had a dozen people in front of us (with that many more in line inside). Line moved quickly and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Chicken fried steak, okra & green beans were all great. Could not resist sharing a slice of... More

Good pie, mama's was better. Country food, will please men. I just had BLT and pie. Hit the spot. If you don't like meringue, you are in the wrong place.

The food are typical country style food. My french fries are warm not hot like its been sitting there for awhile. The price are reasonable. Mostly fried and with gravy. They have pie happy hour from 3-5pm when we went on tue. We are not impress with their pie. The waitress that wait us keeps sniffing while getting our order.... More

We love the Bluebonnet Cafe! If I'm being totally forthcoming I must admit that you won't be eating gourmet food; however, the atmosphere, the smiles, the hometown charm and the pie will win you over. The service has always been good and coffee is pretty good too. Just remember to bring cash or you'll need to use the ATM at... More

We ate brunch there. The line is long to get in, but the wait is short. They are very fast! So don't be worried if you see a long line. The food and pie was delicious!

Driving threw the hills. Stopped for gas saw the bluebonnet cafe looked nice enough. It was like a cafe back in the 70s. Food was great! Friendly people work there. I would go back.

Went to Blue Bonnet as part of our motorcycle group. They were all very happy with their breakfasts, which seemed like fairly huge portions. I ordered two eggs, sunny side up and sausages. Eggs were burnt on sides with whites still runny and the sausages were like cardboard. How can an award winning place get such a simple order wrong?

Yup. Pies is good for the soul. Even for someone who watches food intake - this was a pleasure. And dang good coffee too. The waitresses are fun - 3 pieces of pie- two cups of coffee during happy hour made this a comfort for the tummy and wallet: $10.00 total!!

Had brunch here today. The eatery was established early 1900s. The food was great. The steak 10oz with green beans a sweet baby carrots was truly tasty. My granddaughter had breakfast and my wife had the chicken fried steak. No complaints from anyone. Favorite of the locals. Service was great as well. Got to taste the food.
