This is one of our favorite places. The food is good. The pizza menu changes often, so we like to try the different ones. All on a thin crust. The wine is excellent. The staff is amazing. Wonderful place and great ambiance.

We just had a surprise party for my Mom's 85th birthday for a fairly large group; the staff was so easy to work with setting it up. My family kept making small (but probably irritating) requests for small changes to their prefixe menu, the staff...always came through and were delightful in the process. The wines and food were sensational - I especially loved the Tiramisu they made for my Mom's "birthday cake"! They made my mom the star at every opportunity - everyone raved about the whole experience.More

I went to the Bistro for brunch with girlfriends to begin a Wine Day. The atmosphere and view are both warm and welcoming. We began with some lovely Prosecco and lavender cocktails. The baked garlic and Brie appetizer was a perfect starter, and the bread!...So good. I ordered the crab eggs Benedict, and it was delicious. Fresh chunks of crab and a delicious blend of Hollandaise, eggs, and grilled tomato. My friends also very much enjoyed their caramel apple French Toast and grilled breakfast skillet. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.More

This place has a Marble Falls address but is about 30 minutes outside of Marble Falls proper. Keep that in mind if you have late reservations and will need to drive back into town on those winding roads. Other than us, there were four people...that we encountered on property that evening. The chef/waitress, the owner and the couple that had a reservation a little later than ours. The crowd size was a bit concerning but I'm chalking that up to it being right before the Holidays. We were greeted with a smile and made to feel very welcome. We were presented with some nice wine options and were able to taste a couple of varieties that we had never heard of before. We ordered the quail lollipops which were tasty but just a bit too salty for me. I ordered the pork chop with winter vegetables and my husband ordered the filet with the winter vegetables. The vegetables were great but the pork chop was much too thin. Much. Too. Thin. My husband said his filet was ok. The Devil's Food Chocolate Cake with Black Cherry Compote was actually a large cupcake. Toward the end of our meal, we were greeted by a dog. Now I don't mind dogs but it probably shouldn't have been in the dining room. We heard the dog barking quite loudly from another area as they were preparing our meal, but we tried not to let that spoil our evening. The other couple was really enamored with the dog and was feeding it. Eventually it roamed over to our table but quickly left when there was no food shared. Very friendly people but we probably won't be returning.More

The decor transports you to an Italian village where the wine is delicious, the food is fabulous and the folks who own this place and all the staff are genuine. They truly go out of their way to make your visit special. I took my...husband here for his birthday as a surprise. When we arrived, we were told they had a limited menu that day because of a special event earlier in the day. I was so disappointed because I wanted a very special dinner for my husband's birthday surprise. When I told the hostess and server the situation, they went to the kitchen and the chef prepared a FABULOUS ribeye steak for two. The owners even recited a nice birthday poem. I truly cannot say enough good about this place! We will undoubtedly return. Reservations are required.More

Went there on Sunday AM and got seated right away, with no reservation. Easy free parking, but a bit of a ride from main highway. Service was good and food was very good. Good menu choices and reasonable prices. Had a salad with grilled chicken,...margarita pizza, and crab cake with drinks. All nicely presented and delicious. Went to the winery afterwards to check out the wine tasting. Highly recommend both.More

Our afternoon was perfect at the Bistro. The drive was beautiful and the grounds are breathtaking. Even with the grape vines dormant, the set up is so impressive. We arrived a little late in the afternoon, so we had the place mostly to ourselves. Gary,...our server, could not have been any more helpful. My husband and I are not exactly wine connoisseurs so we really appreciated his warmth and friendliness. Gary was very relatable and immediately put us at ease. The food and wine were both excellent. It was the perfect afternoon. After lunch we walked next door and Heather patiently guided us in choosing several, 8 to be exact, bottles to take home. We cannot wait to go back and take a tour of the winery. This is a must if you are visiting this area.More

The Bistro is a pretty restaurant with a nice patio overlooking the vineyards, the food was delicious, and our waitress was great! The Estate also has a very nice disc golf range!

We started with a wine tasting, the variety of red and dry whites is good - we left with 6 bottles. We wrapped up with pizzas at the Bistro. Highly recommend the Caesar salad!

My law school friends plan an annual reunion - this year I played host for them in Austin and reserved brunch at the Bistro at Flat Creek Estate. We booked their "Grape Escape" package and had such a good time - it's an incredible value...for the price. And may I add- we do the reunion with outlets while families, which meant 10 adults and 3 wild toddlers and one (relatively quiet :-) toddler. And the restaurant handled it all in stride - they were graceful, they were patient and my friends loved the private wine tasting room. We will be back!More

The vineyard , winery, bistro are about 25 minutes east of Marble Falls on FM 1431 ... Maybe twice that long from most Austin/Round Rock locales ... Directions and menu available on their website ... Enjoy!
