When you first walk into Casa Ole', you feel like you are at a Mexican restaurant in Mexico! My boyfriend and I were seated immediately, and our server came to our table with water, tortilla chips and two salsas (a chunky tomato which had a bit too much heat for me and a green smooth avocado dip which was delicious!)... I was really looking forward to the red and green sauce but was disappointed, it just didn't taste like it use too. It's been awhile since I've eaten at a Casa Ole. However, the queso was amazing and delicious.

The service was exceptional. Pretty sure the best waitress we ever had. Wish I knew her name. The food was typical of casa ole. It was good and affordable.

Nice big restaurant. Good food, good service. Love their food, especially the stuffed avacado. Never been disappointed

Good Salsa, lots of items to choose from. Staff is pleasant. Fair prices, lots of food on the plates. Have eaten here twice, not disappointed.

I went on a busy Saturday, the service was decent, the waiter came around often to offer refills and see if everything was ok. The food on the other hand, was bland, very generic and nothing special. My boyfriend and I each ordered the Ambassador dinner. It was two cheese enchiladas, a tostada, a chalupa, rice and beans. The chips... More

The meal that I ordered was actually an appetizer and it was all right. The only problem was that the plate was still so hot that I had to remove the grilled tacos off the plate. However, the ambiance of Casa Ole was very nice. Reasonable price and good service.

It's been almost two years since I visited this place.....and it hasn't changed a bit. Actually it's worse. Food is nothing but bland and tasteless. No flavor whatsoever. The restaurant was nasty....floors greasy and slimy. Dead insects all along the windowsills. Dirt covering the window shades. Bathroom had no hot water at all. Makes you wonder how the employees get... More

Whenever we pass through Lufkin during mealtime, Casa Ole is our place of choice. Having been stopping here for 30+ years, we still never tire of the quality food. True the highway system has been altered over the years, but it's just a minor thing to exit a little early (from the south). Our current eating habits prohibit most of... More

When we pass through Lufkin at mealtime we usually pick Casa Ole for our restaurant. We like their Tex-Mex cuisine. We like their green sauce for the chips but at this Casa Ole you have to ask for it or you will only get the red salsa. I typically get the Acapulco Ole because it's not a heavy meal but... More
