I Love Pho has the look and feel of a local restaurant; nothing fancy. Service was excellent and food arrived quickly. The vegetables were thinly sliced and seafood very good. Had the stir fried noodles -yum.

Finally!

I have been trying to get Sweetie to try Vietnamese food, specifically pho and banh mi sandwiches, for almost a year. Today I finally laid down the law, "We are going to try pho and banh mi sandwiches today after church, don't give me no argue, woman!" Okay, so maybe I didn't use those exact words :) but I did finally get her to agree to try them. We went to I Love Pho on Slide Rd and 4th St. This was both of our first times to try these. I went for the P1, full tilt boogie pho and sweetie had the S2 chicken sandwich. As we waited for the food, we looked around and admired the simple, tasteful decor. I got the small bowl because I didn't feel like going for a swim....the big bowl was that big! We started eating and after first bite, we looked at each other wide-eyed and went "WOW!" It was delicious! I managed to finish my bowl and ate about 1/3 of her sandwich. The pho was delicious and rich and loaded with all kinds of goodies, round steak, brisket, tendon (which I found too chewy for my taste), tripe, noodles, and veggies. It was just spicy enough and was a delight to eat, including slurping the noodles. Sweetie was just as impressed with her sandwich...nicely cooked chicken, pickled veggies which she loved, and the crusty french bread that would have been right at home if used on a po-boy in New Orleans. We had tea and the total was a tad over $20 for both of us. The service was spectacular, as well. We'll be back!

Brisket too fat!

It’s great to have a pho restaurant in Lubbock, but the taste and quality of their pho is not as good as in larger Vietnamese communities like Austin or Fort Worth. Had “Pho Tai Chin” and was disappointed that the brisket contained way too much fat. Also, was charged an extra dollar for some additional basil that I had asked for. Quite unusual! Will probably be back if/when traveling through Lubbock. Might bring my own basil with me though...;););)

Disappointed

Normally enjoy this place as they have nice pho, service is generally okay but today was extremely poor. Sat down and waited 15min while other groups came in and were attended to quickly. No one came over even though we made eye contact several times. Got up and walked out.

I do like "I Love Pho"!

We have eaten at this Vietnamese Restaurant since it first opened but have come to appreciate the service provided by the staff here after hearing about the lackluster or downright rudeness experienced by a trusted friend and fellow foodie at Pho Cali in Lubbock. I took my large family to I Love Pho recently. We ordered many dishes, all the dishes came out timely, were all correct and nicely prepared. And as usual, portions were so sufficient that yummy leftovers were brought home for later enjoyment. This is what eating out should be like. The food is good and no unpleasant surprises in having to deal with rude employees and managers. Just this alone will have us all continue eating here and at Saigon Cafe.

Great place to dine in!!

Their food is fresh and delicious. I love the coconut tapioca drink. I just wished they had more option for vegetarians and vegans too. Also their ceiling needs a major renovation; water was dropping and even after the staff was notified about it they didn't apologized for the matter. They just said "Oh it happens sometimes" not the kind of response you would hear in small business.

First taste of Pho

Have wanted to try Pho for awhile and finally visited I Love Pho in Midland, Texas. It is located in a small shopping area and parking is a bit tight. We tried the chicken Pho and the Brisket / Filet mignon Beef Pho. Both came with side set up of noodles, cilantro, bean sprouts, green onions, jalapeno slices and fresh basil to combine with broth and meat. Loved the beef broth soup but found the chicken broth didn't have nearly as much flavor. The meat was tough so concentrated on the soup with the add-ins and really enjoyed the flavor. This is definitely not fast food, it took at least 30 minutes after ordering to get food. Service was ok but had to ask twice for beverage refill.. Portions are generous and a great value. Next time will order broth and set up without the meat.

Broth let down

Service was good but the broth was disappointing. The bahn mi is good but lacking on meat. All the toppings were there and the salted lemonade drink was really good as well as the coffee. Will repeat for the sandwiches for sure!

Wanted Pho

This place is amazing. I love the Pho here. They have such a great selection to choose from. The serving is a large portion of food. I tried the spring rolls and the crispness was on point. I love this place and will keep eating my Pho here always.

Chicken Pho-WONDERFUL

This is an excellent location and you can tell when there are many students inside enjoying the PHO. i ordered the basic chicken PHO with extra chicken and as always, was pleased with the spices and tasty soup. The staff works quickly and smile along the way.

Best Vietnamese Food

Found this place by accident but so thankful we did. As lovers of Vietnamese Food, this restaurant ranks in our top 5 for sure. Can't go wrong with anything you order here. Soup, spring rolls and sandwiches are all awesome. One of the best for sure! Portions are large, but cost isn't.

Pho-nomenal

I decided to check this place out because it is close to my job. The options are pretty great, from sandwiches to pho to vermicelli to rice, there are options for every one. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. I just had a regular beef pho, the eye round beef, and it was yum. The meat was a little sweeter than I anticipated, as was the broth but of course there was the general abundance of pho itself and so I was unable to finish it all, even though I got a small. They are also running a special for the month of July because they're celebrating their 1 year anniversary: free soft drinks and tea. I will definitely be going back to taste the other items on the menu!

The meat tastes really bad.

I ordered a basic pho dish with pork. It tasted bad. I did not eat it. My partner did not eat their dish either. I will not go back.
