The steaks are the show winner here. When we are looking for a really nice date night, Las Brisas is always on the list of places to go. It's not cheap but good cuts of meat rarely are. I love their steaks, their sides are usually really good but not necessarily great. Overall I give it 5 stars.

The food was OK. Obviously a local favorite for Lubbock. I figure the area folks that don't want to drive and stay in the West Side. Or, the owners go to church with many of the patrons. The food is right about average, with prices that are through the roof. I wonder how this place stays in business. Not being... More

Steak was delicious however it was served with asparagus (3 spears) and potatoes. When I asked to substitute a green vegetable for the potatoes I was told yes for an additional $3 charge. Even asparagus? Yes. Imagine...if I had paid an additional $3 I could have had 6 spears of asparagus.

We have been here many times and the service is usually average to slightly above average, but tonight it was below average. Arrived for reservation after calling and requesting a table by the windows- we were sat at the very back as far from the windows as you can get. That was fine- it was a busy night, so I... More

This place is in my opinion is the best steak in lubbock. I had the new York strip medium it was very delicious and most stakes that I have had the fat was very disgusting. The fat here was the best and so was the truffle mashed potatoes. I would definitely recommend this place

This was our after-game dinner for our group of 12 after Texas Tech lost a tight one to UT. The quality of food and service made us soon forget our team's loss. Well, the wine helped, too! EXCELLENT wine list, by the way. Look, if you are going out for steak - real steak - these are the folks who... More

I had a rare filet that was medium rare, a martini that had no vermouth. I said nothing, an unusual occurrence when things are not quite right.

The food was great and everything tasted very fresh. The service was very good and friendly. They also have a large wine menu that includes local wines.
