Friendly staff. Our server Blake, did an excellent job. The 1 inch ribeye was perfectly cooked and delicious. We also enjoyed the salad, loaded with blue cheese and the crispy seasoned fries. The summer season, it's not too crowded and a relaxing fun experience. We recommend this out of the way western experience. Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain

The chicken strips are not the best. The service was very good. Bread tasted like it was in the freezer for a long time. The steaks are very good and so is the broccoli

I love Cagle's. Get there about an hour before you will be ready to eat because you WILL have to wait. You pick your steak by thickness, not cut. I've never had a bad steak at Cagles! The sides aren't fancy and the atmosphere is Texas/Southwesty. Since you have to wait I suggest you have an adult beverage, sit outside... More

We had 12 people celebrating my daughters graduation. I had called two months before to make my reservations at 8 pm. It was extremely busy when we got there and the hostess told my daughter it would be an hour and half wait. Upon my arrival I explained we had reservations, she then found out name. It still was about... More

Attended with a large party for a family event. Had a great experience. Took reservations so no wait time. Atmosphere is friendly. Location is very nice. Feels like you are out in the country. Menu offers a variety to please from ribeye, filet, chicken, salmon, barbeque. Our group had a little of all and everyone enjoyed their food. I had... More

Good experience, expensive but worth it. My husband got a salmon salad and he said it was the best ever. Very good service.

Cagel Steaks were highly recommended to me by a few locals as a great steak location with a great "Very Texas" ambience. That part was true, I definitely enjoyed the uniquely Texan decor. The food though was a mixed success. The starter cornbread was so dry, it practically dissolved into crumbly dust once I tried to bite into it. The... More

I can't believe I lived in Lubbock over 4 years before visiting Cagle's! My fiance was a groomsman in a friend's wedding and we were invited here with a large group of famil and wedding party members. We had a private dining room and several waiters, which really helped the service! I had the ribeye which was one of the... More

Our server was very nice. The bacon wrapped cream cheese stuffed jalapeños were not deep fried and very tasty. The cornbread was fine, but that's the end of the good news for the food. The green beans tasted like something your grandmother would boil and then serve in a little water with butter. The broccoli was ok. The steak was... More
