My understanding is that Tech students and locals practically consider this place an institution. The decor shows that this place has been around awhile and that's a compliment, not a complaint. It's absolutely packed on Saturday and Sunday mornings so be prepared for a wait (which is 20 minutes at most based on my experience). Pancake House services basic Americana... More

This place has a friendly, home like atmosphere and the food is great! Our server was very pleasant and checked on us often. They have a red velvet "sweet roll" that looked delicious but then we remember how good the biscuits are! Can't wait to visit again when we're back in Lubbock!

The food was good, but the wait was rather long for it being late in the evening and the place was empty. Our waiter was sick, coughing and probably running a fever and looked like he wanted to die. The manager should have pulled him off, sent him home and not let him serve customers but they didn't. As a... More

This is a very good place to get some breakfast. One of my favorites. The prices are extremely reasonable and food is very good. This is not a fancy joint, but they are very good at what they do.

This place looks like it's out of the 1970s or earlier minus the smoke. The pancakes are amazing. Breakfast is cheap and so tasty. The staff is quick and efficient. I love trying a new type of pancake when I'm there- red velvet, sweet potato, funfetti, and more! Highly recommend this sweet spot!

Pancake House is an institution in the LBK. But more importantly, when you ask your friend who is a health inspector where they would go for breakfast, without hesitation that person said - Pancake House. Good, legit and honest food from honest Christian folks who are proud of who they are and proud of what they do. Omelettes are honest... More

Fast, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious, although they forgot about my waffle cooking in the waffle iron so I had to wait a little for a new one to be made. No worries, I call it dessert!

This is where the Texas Rangers eat! Be prepared to wait for breakfast on most mornings. There is a wide selection on the menu, choices for healthy eaters as well.

This place has your mom's style of breakfast. It is very good and if you don't feel like cooking your morning meal, this is the place to come. It has a great environment with friendly staff. They are pretty quick to get your meals. If you do not like being in a crowded place, you may try to avoid the... More

This is a good old fashion breakfast restaurant. Very popular with the locals. Expect a wait. They offer a variety of interesting pancake flavors. To name a few - sweet potato, fruity tutty & southern pecan. Then add yummy toppings such as bananas & peanut butter. I think they make their own syrup. They also have waffles, omelettes & other...
