We enjoy the fried goodness of this eatery. Tried the whitefish this time and was a little disappointed, but the coconut shrimp are great! Make sure you ask for cheese on that baked potato...and try the hush puppies. They are delish!

Have not been here to eat in quite a while. Now that we have moved back to Lubbock we decided to go here for dinner. Many, many fish, chicken and seafood combos to select. I usually had their excellent catfish, but I tried the trout almandine with slaw and baked potato. Really well prepared, tender trout with a tasty almond... More

Nothing fancy here. Just good shrimp and fish. I like their cole slaw, as well. It isn't wild caught shrimp. But, it is more flavorful than those at Red Lobster. And, the prices are lower, too! Hint: They publish a Groupon occasionally, which makes it an even better bargain!

I've been in Lubbock for almost 9 years now and never really thought about going into Shrimp Galley for dinner. I guess the name just gave me the impression of a coffee house/cafe type place that had things like salads with those micro-sized shrimp in them. I never really expected the full menu I encountered when my son and I... More

We have eaten here many times. Good fast service along with hot served seafood! Excellent options and great quality! One time they got my order wrong and quickly replaced the order while I grazed a bit on other things. Fast service!

Well it is not the best seafood restaurant you can find out there. It is more like a fast food restaurant than a real seafood restaurant. Place is a moderately old building and food was just as normal as it could be. There is nothing special about it. Price is cheap so you won't loose anything special if you give... More

Shrimp Galley is an old standby when it comes to fried catfish and shrimp in Lubbock. It really hasn’t changed much over the last twenty years my family has been eating here. They have several different types of fried, grilled or blackened shrimp on the menu, as well as several items like catfish, white fish and chicken strips. Most come... More

My dad and sister had fried shrimp with all the trimmings. One had medium and the other had large. To be honest, we could not tell the difference. I had peel and eat shrimp and it was fantastic. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and was not water logged.

Good fish and shrimp for reasonable price. Family loves the fish and I love the shrimp. Family dining.
