We ordered food to go and it was really good. After traveling for a whole day and driving in bad weather we were wanting to eat somewhat healthy and chill out. This place hit the spot.

I dropped in with my son, a student at Texas Tech University, for a cool drink. We ended up getting a snack, which wasn't memorable, but also wasn't bad. The service was typical for this sort of place - likely college students working part time - but I had no complaints. It was noisy, which I believe was by design.... More

This is a sports bar. Lots of TV and sports going all the time. It stays packed. There are 2 Nicks in town. The one by the University is full of college kids. This one stays full of adults. It's a fun atmosphere. We went up there the other night to watch March Madness and the service was good in... More

This non smoking sports bar is on a nicer scale than many. The food is tasty and drinks are delicious. My favorite is the pizza, but all the dishes I've tried are great. This is a great spot for friends to have dinner and drinks.

We went to Nick's on 82nd after a TTU football game. We luckily got a table. Yes it was busy, but it wasn't any different than any other place we've been to after a game. Our waitress was almost non-existent. We couldn't get drinks in a timely manner and it took over an hour for food.

Enjoyed my meal here. Sat at the bar, watched a game and had a nice meal. Nothing fancy, but a good burger and very good home cut onion rings. Wait staff was friendly, as were the other patrons around me at the bar.

The food is better at this location than the Overton location (although the service seems to be better at the Overton location). You can always find a table and the service is average. The burger is the best in town and the southwest egg-rolls (though slightly overpriced) and jalapeno poppers are excellent! I've heard the hot dog is surprisingly good... More

I love Nick's to catch a game or after a round of golf. The best thing about Nick's is that it has GREAT food unlike other Sport's Bars. I love the burgers, wraps, calzones, and pizzas. Great food.

Our male waiter must have had a bad night but the young lady we came to depend on was great. Went for a light lunch. Wrap was good as were the onion rings. First Caesar salad was soaked in dressing but our waitress quickly and nicely replaced it with a better one. Thanks Ms. Ward.

Great place! We enjoyed dinner on the patio! The staff was friendly and delivered great service. The chips and queso and salsa was great for two or more. The chicken wings were great and the salad was great too. This was across the street from the hotel we stayed at.
