Had breakfast after church on Sunday and our server was Emily. I paid with credit card and was charged 23 cents more than authorized. I have called this establishment and left a message. We did enjoy our meal and received good service.
Very simple tin decorations, Route 66 inspired. Very good coffe; the waitresses left the coffee pot on the table to help ourselves. When we ordered, we were allowed to change the dishes to our personal taste. The croissant French toast was very good, with many...fruit toppings to choose from. The place is famous for an extra large pancake that overflows the large plate; it’s usually ordered as a side to share.
The first time my husband and I came we were served quickly, so the next time, when we were in a rush, we didn´t hesitate to repeat it.More
Not bad but certainly not great. Big as your head pancake is also thick as a brick!! Eggs were cooked perfectly at over-medium. Bacon was a touch undercooked. Not crispy at all. This meal was not good enough to keep me out of a drive...through next time I want breakfast.More
I really want to like this place...
The servers are always nice. Not always the best service though. The one main complaint I have is every time I order eggs it doesn’t matter how I order them the white is always runny. Unless you order...them scrambled. I’m not picky if something in my order is wrong, but runny egg white is one thing I can’t stomach. She brought me new eggs three times and watched me cut them open each time to see them still runny.
I keep trying to order something different, and I will say, their scrambles are good...just don’t order eggs that aren’t in a scramble.More
Long wait and disappointed with service. Waited an hour outside in the heat and another 35 minutes for our food. The restrooms where dirty and I had to call them to attend to it. The food was not bad. Won’t be back though.
Despite I am still upset that they don't accommodate folks with special needs (food wise/serving wise), if you can eat a whole meal, this is the place to go. French toast and bacon were prepared perfectly with really good flavor. The Pork BBQ sandwich melted...in your mouth. The flavor spot on. The french fries were well-cooked with just the right amount of seasoning. Water glasses were filled well. Service was good. Nice family atmosphere. Good for larger families, too, but you might have to wait for a table! It still seemed very busy despite a second store was opened.More
Management was hurrying their waitstaff to clean their tables because people were waiting. This may have contributed to our poor customer service. Our server was so rushed that she missed one of our orders. She apologized, and stated that "the kitchen is a mess." The...omelet was overcooked as well as the hash browns. When we asked to speak to the manager, she explained that there was a mix-up in the orders. That means that someone had ordered a burnt omelet with overcooked hash browns. I think there may be a management problem that's affecting the food and the service. Not going back.More
We were looking for lunch but heard good things about the restaurant thought why not. It was a pleasant and enjoyable surprise. Just as one would expect they offer country style breakfast with all the fixings. There are three Eggs Benedict options I selected the...Southern Eggs Benedict which was eggs and sausage layered on an open faced biscuit covered in sausage cream gravy. My daughter opted for the traditional one with hollandaise both were yummy. The servings were generous so be hungry when you visit. The restaurant we visited is the one located on Indiana Ave. in a small newer shopping strip mall. The interior was small with a few tables and booths. We experienced no wait for seating but our visit was closer to lunch vs breakfast. The service was friendly and prompt.More
Delicious! What a nice treat! Wonderful and diverse menu ranging from traditional breakfast entrees to egg dishes with a Southwestern flair. I enjoyed the Stuffed French Toast. Perfectly prepared spongy French toast filled with scrambled eggs and sausage. Delish. Our group also sampled the traditional...breakfast and a Benedict dish. Both were excellent. Good service as well. Go early to beat the crowd.More
