Friendly service. The food is average and the atmosphere is inviting. It was extremely cold! I felt like I needed a snow suit. My food arrived and looked grrr but the bowel was dirty and had a crusty substance on it (yuck!). They were prompt to address it and I was not charged for it.

Friendly greeting from hostess. Short wait. Slow service from wait staff. Food delivered quick after our waiter assigned and took our order. Salmon dinner exceptionally good. All vegetables fresh and cooked to perfection- love that broccoli. Pot roast just like Mom used to make on Sunday. Rolls delicious. Fried green tomatoes- oh yeah their yummy.

This was our first experience here after being highly recommended by a close friend. Guess it must have been a bad Saturday because we had unfavorable experiences all around. The servers all appeared to have just crawled out of bed with wrinkled clothing and hair flying everywhere. Our server was not able to answer three different questions we posed about... More

We had a really long day and needed some comfort food! I had the "one fork" pot roast beef with green beans and mashed potatoes. Very tender and flavorful with good gravy. Husband had fish and chips and he said it and the fries were very good. Our server was super friendly and helpful. Would have tried the cobbler, but... More

Like many Texas Cafes, they offered the chicken fried steak with a couple of sides for about $10 at lunch. I took them up on the offer and enjoyed a very good meal including sides of real mashed red potatoes and some string beans with bacon. The bonus were the hot from the oven buns that were totally awesome and... More

My dad had the pork chops and veggies. I shared a quesadilla, queso, and chips with my mom. The service was good and everything was great.
