From beginning to end we had a great experience. Once seated our server came quickly and was attentive throughout the meal. We had mozzarella cheese sticks for an appetizer. They were very good!! For dinner my daughter had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and I had fettuccine Alfredo with Italian sausage and mushrooms. I think this was the best Alfredo dish I’ve every had. Our dinners came with garlic bread and soup or salad. We both chose salad. The salads were a good size. Next time we’re in Lubbock we will visit again!

Orlando's has become our 'go to' restaurant in Lubbock. The food is consistently good, the service is great, and the wait is never long. Even though it was Texas Tech's Graduation, we ate here twice last weekend (once at each location) and had no issues being seated or served. In fact we were actually turned away from Triple J's Chophouse (fully booked) but Orlando's came through for us (party of 12!) at the last minute and provided a great meal. Believe me...we will be back!

Being one of the few restaurants we’ve eaten at they the pandemic, I was unsure how this would go but the staff was super careful and wore masks making us feel very safe. The Italian food was really good. We had spaghetti, tortellini, and chicken spaghetti. Chicken spaghetti was spicy which I wasn’t expecting but other than that I would definitely eat there again. Bruschetta was a great appetizer!

We arrived and were told that the wait would be 30-45 minutes, and it ended up being only about 10-20 minutes. The appetizers were a bit rushed and ended up being just okay, but the pizza was absolutely amazing. So much so that I am glad that I was stuffed and had to take some home. That way I was able to experience it again. It was almost the best pizza that I have ever eaten.

Food was so delicious. Portions huge. Normally my family never needs to go boxes but here we did. They have a yummy queso. My husband and daughter finished it before I was close to finishing reading the menu. My husband and I was very impressed that our waitress could tell you about each dish on the menu! Can not wait to go back.

I'm not much for Italian food so I can't speak to that but I am a burger fan and I have eaten a lot of burgers in Lubbock and have been sorely disappointed until I came here and had there Over the Border Burger. Wow, it is made with hatch chiles, cheese and comes on some sort of really chewy bun that doesn't fall apart when eating. Service is quick, polite and personal. We have had some of there other dishes I can' remember the names but they were pasta dishes and they were very delicious. I don't live far away so this is my top go to place in Lubbock.

We ate here twice during our stay in Lubbock. First time at the Indiana location. Dine in. Amazing service. Food was delicious. Even though they were very busy, we didn’t have to wait long to be seated or get our food. Very fairly priced for the amount of food you get.
Second time at the Avenue Q location. Called in to go food. Waited an hour for my food after calling it in. Others got their food that ordered after me while I was waiting. When I got back to the hotel with the food, they had given me extra bread and spaghetti, and a free dessert. But, my main order was terrible. Eggplant parmigiana. It was just 2 pieces of fried eggplant with a tiny sprinkle of melted cheese. No sauce. Didn’t look very appetizing. I ordered this because that’s what I had on the first visit and it was great then.
I will give them another chance for dine in , but not for to go.

Consistently good food and good service at both locations. I'm more frequently visit the Indiana Street location. Plexiglass has been installed between the booths as a reaction to covid, so they are fully open without significant health risk. My only complaint is the shape of the salad bowl - it is too small to completely cut up the lettuce.

Always have enjoyed our food and service has been great. Arrived to pick up order. Noted sign stating to wait in vehicle for pick up orders. Shortly after arriving another customer parked next to us and waited in his vehicle. Two different employees proceeded to walk toward our vehicle and turned around without even inquiring about our order. A third customer pulled up and parked next to us. She got out of her vehicle and entered the restaurant. After waiting for a while, went inside to pick up order. Upon entering restaurant noted employees standing behind the counter and assisting customer who arrived after we did. Employees did not appear concerned about customers waiting outside for their order. The sad part is the food was cold and not worth the time and frustration to pick up order. The food was not very good. Pizza crust appeared undercooked. Will not be ordering food from this restaurant anytime soon.

I can see how that sign could be misleading. We are thinking about changing the wording to this sign - "If you want to
wait in your car please turn on your hazard lights." The Wait in Your Car signs were left over from Covid. If you order curbside you can text the store when you arrive. If you don't use curbside, our staff does not know you are out there waiting. It is a weakness in our system. Thanks for pointing it out, we are going to try and make it work better for the customers. As for the food, our management and staff try very hard to please everyone but inevitably they fail sometimes. Any time you have an issue with our food or service, please ask for a manager who will be happy to assist you in making things right. We want all our customers to leave satisfied, and we will do everything we can in that regard, as it is always easier to resolve issues the same day. Sincerely, Loyd L. There were 2 adults and two little boys in our party. The queso was good but out of character for an Italian restaurant. The boys ordered spaghetti and salad for one and cheese pizza for the other. It was all good. The adults ordered the sampler. It was waaay too much food and then they brought out more because they forgot to put cheese on top of the other platter. So we took one whole platter of food home. Everything tasted the same. Nothing outstanding. No sure if we will return or not. It would be a great place for a car load of big hungry boys who just want lots of food.

Apparently a very well loved Lubbock restaurant. They have two locations and both were packed with people. The Indiana location has more space and our wait was minimal. We had stopped at the Avenue Q location first and were told and hour wait which we thought was extreme. Fortunately everything in Lubbock is a short drive so we left for the other location. There are lots of choices on the menu. We split the pasta sampler between 3 people and it was more than enough food. Everything tasted great, homey, and fresh. Unfortunately they were out of cannelloni, my favorite, but I didn’t drop a star for this one disappointment. We doubled up on lasagna instead. Minestrone soup was excellent also. We left very satisfied with the food and the attentive service. A return trip in the future is definite.

I chose Orlando’s for Father’s Day, as I haven’t eaten here in over a year and the food is delicious. I decided to try the all-you-can-eat spaghetti. This feast includes salad, soup, and garlic bread. I enjoy the regular house salad with blue cheese dressing. Orlando’s serves a blue cheese dressing with plenty of pieces of blue cheese…just delicious if you like blue cheese. The spaghetti tastes great…and I ate two servings.
The most spectacular part of this visit is how prepared and dedicated the entire restaurant was for Father’s Day. A line formed five minutes prior to their 11am opening. My wife and I were pleased to see how quickly the Orlando’s team brought the guests in, seated them, and started serving.
I rate them highly for excellent service, excellent food, and an overall enjoyable experience!

Everything we ordered was delicious. The chicken parmigiana was crispy and tasty. Their homemade marinara pasta sauce is great. Decent wine selection and a few cocktails from their bar. My favorite dish was the pepperoni pizza. Specialty sourced pepperoni, an amazing crust and an awesome cheese combination.
This is easily one of the best pepperoni pizzas I have ever tried and I have tried a lot of them around the globe.
I live that it’s a family owned restaurant. Their decor is nice and the place very clean. Give them a try and you won’t be disappointed.

Let me preface this by saying that I’ve been eating at Orlando for the past 20 years. Whenever I eat there, I normally get the chicken and rice and broccoli casserole. I drove from Midland today to take some friends who were in from Pennsylvania to eat at Orlando because the food was always good . The food that we got today was very disappointing. The broccoli chicken rice casserole was bland not too much cheese on top and mushy. Next time I go there, I hope that the food will be better. The service was good at our table, but the food was not, and I was very disappointed and mildly embarrassed for the fact that I had really talked it up and was expecting a fine dining experience there again, my friend as well got the broccoli rice casserole and did not like it at all.

Every time we make the trip from Dallas to visit family in Lubbock, a stop at Orlando's is an absolute must! This place has become a cherished tradition for us, and for good reason. The food is consistently phenomenal—never a "hit or miss" experience here.
We always come prepared with a cooler to bring home their legendary Down and Dirty Tortellini. It’s hands-down one of the most delicious dishes we’ve ever had, and worth every mile of the drive! Their pizza on whole wheat crust is perfection, and their spaghetti packs are a lifesaver when you want restaurant-quality meals at home.
The team at Orlando's is impressively fast and well-organized, which makes dining here a pleasure, even when they’re busy. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is always served piping hot and fresh.
We’d confidently rate Orlando’s as one of the best restaurants in Lubbock. Honestly, we’ve been wishing they’d expand to the Dallas area—it would be a huge hit here! Until then, we’ll keep making the trip and bringing back our favorites. If you’re in Lubbock, Orlando’s is a can’t-miss culinary gem!
