Everybody has their own hometown mexican food place they grew up with. Yeah it's not the best food in the world, but it's pretty dang good and you could probably eat there 4 days out of the week and not complain. That's what we felt like walking into it, like everyone knew everyone else's name, yet we didn't feel like... More

For years, El Burrito was the best Mexican food restaurant in town... ok, it was the ONLY one in town. Everyone went there, the food was good, service good, prices good. That was then, after being closed for a few months, it reopened with some challenges. Competition was the main one. Anyway, the quality of the food dropped, the attitude... More

Of the last two times I have ate here, I wound up sick. First time was from the queso dip, narrowed it down from 2 others with me also were sick, but the other 3 who didn't eat it, where not. The second time was anyone's guess, that was the last time I ate there. A bit pricey. Service was... More

I've only been here once and will never go back. The atmosphere is dated, ugly carpet, cold food, high school kids running the joint so we saw a lot of goofing around.

The service was very good. The saltillo dinner I had was really good. The place was very clean. The waitresses were always filling up our tea glasses. The food was freshly prepared and tasted great!

Sauce tasted basically like tomato paste. Senior fajitas at $7.50 do not include any lettuce, pico, or cheese. Just a sauce of chicken and 3 tortillas. No sides either. asked the waitress and she said it was the kids menu, I corrected her that it also said seniors or 55. checkout just ignored and did not respond to me questioning... More

I've know the owners for years. When I go back home I always go here. You just can't beat the service and the food. Its a very nice place to get good Tex-Mex food.

We arrived at our hotel after a long day travelling and decided to try El Burrito, right next to the hotel and the highway. Having grown very fond of Mexican food since moving to Texas, I have found out what is good (in my opinion) and what is plain ole TexMex - this food here was awesome, I enjoyed every... More

If you are looking for bland and unseasoned food then this is the place for you. The salsa tasted like tomatoes with no flavor. As I was paying on my way out I told the cashier the food was bland and flavorless when she asked how everything was. She told me this is how their customers like it with very... More
