The food is always delicious and affordable for a family. The service could be improved a little, but we are never in a hurry!! ;)

We were very much impressed with great tasting catfish and shrimp. I flat enjoyed the all one can eat platter. The staff was on top of things and were friendly. I recommend that you stop and eat here!

Very slow service. We stopped in on a Tuesday night and they weren't busy. The food was mediocre. We waited and waited for the tea, the food, the fellow who waited on us had to be asked to bring silverware. All in all, quite a disappointment.

The catfish was fresh and not greasy; the shrimp was very good as well. The salad bar had more nutritious greens mix rather than the standard iceberg variety.

Fairly good catfish, but the hush puppies were better. The day I ate there, there seemed to be more batter than fish. My table was clean, but i had to change chairs due to a loose leg on the one I started with. They were busy, so the the service was a little slow, but not too bad. Overall the... More

Yesterday was my first visit and the experience was less than exceptional. Waking in we weren't greeted with a "Welcome to Catfish King" or anything, but just "how many?" The salad bar was lacking, as several sections of it were turned off due to refrigeration issues according to the server. The food was ok, but it's all deep fried, so... More

The fried catfish is good, crisp and not greasy. The baked catfish is actually grilled on a flat grill and tastes fresh as well. Popcorn shrimp that's cooked well and tastes like shrimp. A decent salad bar with beans that can be really good or not spiced... depending on the day. All in all, the food is usually good, the... More

My family has eaten here a few times. The prices are fair and portions are fair, not over the board. The onion rings as appetizers are delicious! Catfish is great, other entrees are good. Not out of this world but good food for the money, plenty of seating, and staff is very friendly. The odd thing about metal roof disrupts... More

This is a fried seafood restaurant. Everything on the menu is almost the same but just worded in a different order. They have a salad bar and great beans.

Our group of 8 family members from Livingston & the greater Houston area met here for lunch. Very friendly service & good salad bar. The fried catfish was good but not the best I've had. Watch the highway exit for service road traffic conflicting with quick entrance restaurant.
