Fake mashed potatoes

Fake mashed potatoes. Everything was great besides the mashed. Had the chicken dish. Great chips and salsa. Friendly waitstaff. Only downfall was the mashed from a box.

Average Lunch & Dinner - Good Breakfast

I had eaten lunch and dinner here several times and was not impressed. The food was OK at best. My last three visits have been for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Have had their traditional American breakfast, Mexican breakfast and breakfast tacos and have enjoyed them all. The facility is nice and the service is good. Breakfast is best!

My worst dinning experience in a long time

Restaurant tries to be a mid class steak house and bbq pit but they fell short in every category, menu is horrible, fajitas plate looked more as a grilled chicken breast, all good is flavorless with the exception of the salsa . Manager seems clueless and servers are less than amateur , never back

Used to be good, but disappointing now...

Picked up people from Airport and decided to go since it has been a while since I've eaten here. Got the "recommended" sirloin steak and oh man it was tough. Should have eaten my shoes; at least I know where they've been! I've been here many times in the past and it was good. Not sure what happen in the mean time, but probably will not go back. I like music, but it was so loud, our party could not hear each other speak. Cook the sole of your shoes and you'll probably experience the same taste as this place.

Stayed at the hotel right beside this restaurant so I ate here twice. Both times the food was good. Could have been a little bit spicier but still very good. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Margaritas were good also. Recommend this place

Beautiful Building -- Just Average Food -- Disappointing

5 of us came for Christmas dinner. We were greeted and seated quickly. The server was very nice, helpful. Our orders varied from a sampler platter, BBQ, and Chicken Fried Steak. The chicken fried steak was very thin, not much flavor. The mashed potatoes/country gravy were cold on both orders. The server quickly brought back hot potatoes, but appeared to be instant with way too much water. You could use a straw to eat them. My colleagues said the BBQ 3 meat platter(sausage, brisket, and chicken was ok. The desert menu was nothing to write home about. Chocolate cake (out of stock) Lemon cake, Tres Leches, cheesecake. We had the Cheesecake, Tres Leches, and Lemon cake. All were just ok. Overall, the service was good, atmosphere was good, but the food was just okay. I am not sure what their signature dish is. We saw a lot of appetizing dishes coming out of the kitchen.

Great food!!!

A must if you visit Laredo. Food is fantastic, great atmosphere, friendly customer service. Daily breakfast and lunch specials are great. Serving portions are huge. Price was awesome for my family of seven. But most of all the food is delicious!

I ordered the fish and shrimp. My wife had the bbq brisket and sausage. It was all delicious. We had a flan and a tres leches for dessert. It was very good. The food is a bit pricey though, and the portions are minimal for the money. Overall, I think it's good and will definitely return. Just know that it's not cheap, and the portions are "enough" but you won't have leftovers to take for lunch.

Outside looked a little on the pricey side but I think the prices were quite reasonable. You get quite a bit of food too. Would definitely return again if in the area.

Didn't do it for me

This place certainly didn't have the wow factor for me. Place looks the part, maybe I expected too much, I had heard many good things about it prior to having lunch there when I was on a business trip. Food was just okay, for me it lacked flavor and presentation. Service was definitely on the slow side, and I felt like I was bothering my waitress when I asked for a refill of my water... Maybe it was a bad day for them, I will consider trying it again but my first experience was not a favorable one. There are far too many good restaurants in Laredo to have to settle for a place like this.

The food tasted great I love the chips and variety of dips that comes with it. I had their hamburger and the bun was very good and sweet but they don't ask how do you want your meat cooked. And the service probably would have been a lot better if we could speak Spanish. But I asked for cheese on my burger and didn't get it and when I asked for it again they brought out shredded cold cheese in a cup. Same I asked for honey mustard and didn't get it and when I asked again I got regular mustard. So over all the food is good and you get great service if you speak Spanish. And the price and portions are great.

The ambiance is nice, don't know if was an off day but we wait a lot for the salsas and totopos, and wait more for the food, the two different waitress took our order. food was ok my steak suppose to be Med-well and was well-done, my spouse did not like it. lots of employees but look lost. hope if you go have a better enjoyment expending your hard earn money.
