Google Maps had this restaurant in the wrong location. Just about the only open restaurant in town on a Sunday evening, so thought we had to go on to Smithville for some dinner... Lo and behold, the service signs showed us where to go! The building looks like something out of the sixties, a dilapidated, run down seaside joint. What... More

While traveling through LaGrange, Tx, we decided to stop to eat. We just happened to see this place from the freeway. The restaurant was clean, large, and had an amazing menu. The food was served on large, real plates, the portions were big and the food presentation was quite pleasing. The exterior did not really seem like it was a... More

Visited w friends on our way to Austin. Good for those who want fried food (although grilling is an option, none of us ordered anything healthy!) and lots of it. Service was speedy and then they let us sit and visit wo pushing us out the door even though the place was packed when we got their at noon.

The quality of food has improved with the new ownership. I had the gumbo and it was excellent. Fairly priced.

We always eat here when in town. Good food and service. The blackened tilapia is the best. Never disappointed.

Stopped for a quick lunch. Ordered crawfish PO-boy and catfish Dinner with gumbo. Yummy. Their veggies are the best. Delicious green beans and broccoli are both amazing. Reasonable prices. Delicious food.

Our first choice restaurant was closed on Mondays, so we ended up trying Sealand Seafood and Steak. The seafood gumbo was very good as well as grilled shrimp salad. The bacon wrapped, jalapeño grilled shrimp lacked flavor.

Excellent fried shrimp. They were huge. Fries and baked potatoes were average. Gumbo was really good and had lots of shrimp. Mixed drinks were very good except he had to figure out how to make a White Russian. We would eat here again. One of the better places we have eaten on this trip.
