Stopped in with friends for a late lunch. We all had salads, some with 1/2 sandwiches. One had taco soup and one had a pumpkin soup. Both said their soup was very good. The sandwiches were ok. I had a Chicken Caesar salad which was...ok although on the small side.More

We have been long-term customers of Fransico’s’s, but it’s been taken over by a new owner. We ate here for the first time under new ownership. My husband’s steak was so tough he sent it back. The server asked why we were sensing it back...and we said because it’s an edible. It’s so tough. It was left on our bill. My salmon was so dry I could barely choke it down. Then we were given a service charge for using a credit card. We will never be back. My husband went into ask them about the service charge for using a credit card and they said Diego is the manager but he’s never here. Sorry there’s no one to talk to about the problem. We will absolutely never be back.More

We ordered the cilantro lime shrimp and chicken. The rice and shrimp were good but the chicken was so tough it was almost inedible. Server lacked knowledge of items on the menu. Overpriced for the experience we had. Probably won’t go back.

Upon arrival, less than 15% capacity at first glance. A ridiculous question of whether we had a reservation seemed pretentious a it was a little over two ours prior to closing.Waitstaff a bit green in experience and could overhear other staff taking about dinners. Not...flattering. Food was served room temperature and as expensive as this experience was, that is unacceptable. Menu more Mexican than Italian which it is decorated asMore

Stopped in for lunch... it was... ok. Glad we didn't go for dinner. Ordered enchiladas, they were cold. The cheese on top wasn't melted. The rice and beans were completely unseasoned. The guacamole was very good. The service was great and the ambiance was pleasant....Probably not going backMore

Special place - great food & service! Atmosphere inside has beautiful artwork; white table cloths, great service! Outside is equally wonderful in the heart of downtown Kerrville. Love this place!

We stop in at Francisco’s for lunch about twice a month! The food is always flavorful, fresh and hot! The daily specials, green chili chicken enchiladas for my husband and a spicy chicken salad chalupa for me. Fish tacos are just as delightful! The chalupa...has guacamole, pico de gallo, and served with chicken tortilla soup and a wedge of fruit! Ordered chips/salsa and their fabulous tea! The restaurant is on the corner (old bank building). Great dining inside or on the patio!, also great ambiance — the very reason we keeping going back as often we shop in Kerrville! What a treasure! Special thanks to Corey, our server, he’s the best!More

Francisco's sits on a corner in downtown Kerrville. Prior to being a restaurant, it was a bank and a bar/bordello in its early days. Dining can be street side or inside the art-filled dining room. The menu is somewhat limited. We were glad we did...not bring the grandons along as the menu had very little to appease their appetities. We ordered red fish (in a red salsa like sauce) and salmon. The red fish had to be sent back to the kitchen as it was raw in the center, but they obliged, and it came back thoroughly cooked. The salmon was very good. Restaurant seemed very popular especially the curbside dining.More

Excellence in every way. The service is always perfect and so is the food. We appreciate that staff and the owner recognize us and greet us when we walk in. The ambience is lovely - cool and elegant; a nice place for lunch or dinner....The patio is very pretty and it's fun to be right downtown in a historic building. The iced tea is flavored with a light spice blend and it is one of our favorite things. I enjoy the black bean nachos, the fish tacos, or the unique Chicken Salad Chalupa. Year round, they have a great selection of soups. The Gazpacho is a terrific Summer offering and during cool weather, the creamy soups are delicious. Year round, the Tortilla soup cannot be beat. Desserts are delicious too. The Orange Flan is wonderful and we also enjoy the Kiwi Lime pie, Tres Leches Cheesecake or Peach Cobbler. This restaurant is locally owned and seems to really appreciate their customers. We locals certainly appreciate Francisco's and are lucky to have this wonderful restaurant in our town.More
