Great presentation, taste and variety! Inside Francisco’s is quaint and filled with interesting art work. A Must visit!
Stopped in for lunch... it was... ok. Glad we didn't go for dinner. Ordered enchiladas, they were cold. The cheese on top wasn't melted. The rice and beans were completely unseasoned. The guacamole was very good. The service was great and the ambiance was pleasant....Probably not going backMore
Special place - great food & service! Atmosphere inside has beautiful artwork; white table cloths, great service! Outside is equally wonderful in the heart of downtown Kerrville. Love this place!
We stop in at Francisco’s for lunch about twice a month! The food is always flavorful, fresh and hot! The daily specials, green chili chicken enchiladas for my husband and a spicy chicken salad chalupa for me. Fish tacos are just as delightful! The chalupa...has guacamole, pico de gallo, and served with chicken tortilla soup and a wedge of fruit! Ordered chips/salsa and their fabulous tea! The restaurant is on the corner (old bank building). Great dining inside or on the patio!, also great ambiance — the very reason we keeping going back as often we shop in Kerrville! What a treasure! Special thanks to Corey, our server, he’s the best!More
Nice place for lunch in downtown Kerrville. Portions are well sized but wold have liked some chips or fries with sandwiches. Food was tasty.
Francisco's sits on a corner in downtown Kerrville. Prior to being a restaurant, it was a bank and a bar/bordello in its early days. Dining can be street side or inside the art-filled dining room. The menu is somewhat limited. We were glad we did...not bring the grandons along as the menu had very little to appease their appetities. We ordered red fish (in a red salsa like sauce) and salmon. The red fish had to be sent back to the kitchen as it was raw in the center, but they obliged, and it came back thoroughly cooked. The salmon was very good. Restaurant seemed very popular especially the curbside dining.More
Excellence in every way. The service is always perfect and so is the food. We appreciate that staff and the owner recognize us and greet us when we walk in. The ambience is lovely - cool and elegant; a nice place for lunch or dinner....The patio is very pretty and it's fun to be right downtown in a historic building. The iced tea is flavored with a light spice blend and it is one of our favorite things. I enjoy the black bean nachos, the fish tacos, or the unique Chicken Salad Chalupa. Year round, they have a great selection of soups. The Gazpacho is a terrific Summer offering and during cool weather, the creamy soups are delicious. Year round, the Tortilla soup cannot be beat. Desserts are delicious too. The Orange Flan is wonderful and we also enjoy the Kiwi Lime pie, Tres Leches Cheesecake or Peach Cobbler. This restaurant is locally owned and seems to really appreciate their customers. We locals certainly appreciate Francisco's and are lucky to have this wonderful restaurant in our town.More
We really enjoy this cute little place for lunch. It has nice artwork on the walls and great tortilla soup.
We enjoy having lunch at this small attractive spot downtown when we visit Kerrville. The chicken tortilla soup is wonderful. Hours are a little varied so sometimes we miss eating here but we got lucky this time and we had a really nice lunch.
Selections that are hard to find and excellently prepared. Outside or inside-great service and nice atmosphere. Popular-arrive early
Deliciously Different! Lunch was great! An amazing chicken salad chalupa with guacamole and salsa. Soup was a super flavorful tortilla soup. Partner had a zucchini soup YUM and half a chicken salad. Seriously go for the chicken salad. It’s really good! Our server was attentive...but not hovering. All of the servers had smiles on their faces. What a great place!More
We have gone to Fransisco's for dinner a few times. I have a diet I have to follow for a medical condition. I can't eat spicy food. I ordered the redfish Veracruz which I have had many times with a little heat. It was so...spicy even my heat loving boyfriend said it was too spicy. I wasn't jalapeño. Whatever it is the wait person should make the person aware if it is very spicy. The other times we have dined there for dinner we haven't been over joyed. However, the fish taco/tortilla soup is delicious. If you don't care for cilantro be sure to ask them not to add it. They LOVE cilantro there but not everybody does and it tends to be heavily dumped on there. Many of there main courses have cilantro in the title. It's an okay restaurant. It is pricy. The building and the ambiance is wonderful. A glass or many more with an appetizer would be wonderful.More
My friends and I have been having lunch at Francisco's regularly for the last 18 years. Our advice is to have the off the menu special- spicy chicken salad tostada with tortilla soup, or gazpacho depending on the season. Well, maybe have the fish tacos. Nothing...else deserves a second look. The ambiance is nice, especially if you eat outside, and the service is always excellent. The servers have been there for years, and know what they are doing. We never go for dinner. Stick with what they do the best.More
We didn't find the food choices here to our liking. Lots of sandwiches and health food. Not our kind of place.
