This small eatery is located directly on Sidney Baker a short distance from IH10.
It is next to a hotel but not associated with the hotel.
The front parking is small but there is a small side and back parking area as well.
This is a very home cooked styled small one room restaurant.
We were able to seat ourselves easily early on a Sunday morning to have breakfast.
They are only open for breakfast and lunch with open hours of 7 am to 2 pm with daily specials, except on Mondays.
Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive.
The menu is a good selection of breakfast and lunch items.
We ordered the Oatmeal Flapjacks with ham (you have a choice of meat) and the other was a Pancake with one egg (cooked to your choice) and a meat choice (ham, 2 strips of bacon or sausage). One of us ordered decaf coffee and the other just had water.
The coffee was served immediately and the meal came very quickly.
The flapjacks were large, hearty and tasty. The pancake was also large, the egg cooked just right and the bacon was almost crispy but not as crispy as requested.
All went well and will visit for lunch again to support a small local business.
Nothing fancy but filled up fast by the time we left people were waiting for a table.
We visited a couple of weeks later for breakfast on a Sunday around 9 am and there wasn’t a table available with two couples waiting so we left.
On subsequent visits we have been able to get a table.

Since LaQuinta wasn't serving a buffet breakfast due to the virus, they told us about this place within walking distance that served a great breakfast. 3 out of the 4 mornings we spent in Kerrville, we ate our breakfast here. Small place, offset from the highway, only had 15 tables, well spaced. Prices a bit high just for eggs, bacon, grits and toast, but in line with IHOP, and the food was good. Would suggest that they salt the grits when cooking because it takes a lot of salt to get them just right. I know that a lot of people are on salt restricted diets, but a little salt would definitely help.

Ate here because La Quinta was not serving breakfast. Glad we did. Good service, perfectly cooked eggs. They even cooked soft scrambled as well if not better than I do. Service was friendly and attentive. The price was excellent. There is a handicapped ramp in the back. Clean. I highly recommend this place.

Cant figure out why the good reviews for this restaurant. I thought the place was below par. I ordered the Lisa taco and it was very greasy and not a good taste. The grease was pooling on my plate. The coffee is horrible. The restroom was filthy. When we got there the parking lot was full so you assume it is good. We were wrong. We will never go back.

I regret to say, I will no longer be eating here. Most people will enjoy the food, the wait-staff, And the ambience.
I hope this business does better.
Having said all this, this restaurant is one of the top two restaurants in Kerrville for breakfast 🥞
It is probably the best value, hands-down, of any restaurant.

A true dining treasure! Very clean and adorably decorated. Breakfast was great, with awesome bacon and wonderfully crispy hash browns. Service was also great with just the right attentiveness. Finally, the price was right. Should you travel through Kerrville in the morning, I HIGHLY recommend the Save Inn.

This is to the young girl that doesnt truly understand what repeat business means to a small company.
I phoned in my order today from my work asking for a hamburger with pickle and onion only and an order of fries.
I drove there to get my lunch and drove back to my work only to find i had a hamburger with cheese, mayonaise, tomato, lettuce, pickle, onion and no time to return it.
I tipped the young girl $3.00 for nothing but handing me a sack.
When i called back to see if they would make it right for me on my next visit i was told SO YOU EXPECT A WHOLE HAMBURGER JUST BECAUSE YOU GOT EXTRA VEGATABLES??
I SAID NO THATS NOT WHY!
THE REASON WHY IS BECAUSE I DID NOT GET WHAT I ORDERED AND PAID FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE!!
She began to explain to me that was not going to happen and i needed to call back tomorrow and talk to Randy the owner because she was to busy to deal with my issue right now!
Not take my number and have Randy call me.
Well there are numerous places to get a hamburger in Kerrville THE WAY I WANT IT! NOT THE WAY YOU WANT TO GIVE IT TO ME!
Randy if i were you i would let your empoyee know what true customer service is and then let her go.
You can lose customers like me and who they know over terrible service especially after being talked to in the manner i was.

We went with friends. It was cold outside and a bit drafty inside but the food was good. Service was impeccable. Waitresses were fun.

Save Inn is a little gem. Breakfast was excellent!! We had Carnitas omelette and migas. Definitely be back. Thanks for great food and service from ReAnna.

We arrived for a late breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. The food was basic and made to order. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. The prices are good.

This is a simple, classic diner with good "down-home" cooking, friendly waitstaff, good prices, and a basic ambiance. Small off-street parking lot. Good breakfasts and lunches.

Breakfast was served as order. Waitress attentive and friendly, promptly refilling coffee and checking if anything else was needed. Many locals eat here. Daily specials listed.

Convenient and walking distance from the motel and absolutely delicious family breakfast/lunch restaurant. Ate there several times and everything was delicious. The biscuits were the absolute best I have had in years...soft and flaky. My companion agreed.
