Just good home style cooking for a great price. Consistently good food, familiar faces, kind of a home town place .

This a wonderful restaurant with a very wide variety of food. We normally eat there for lunch or dinner. The salads are very good - especially the Blackened Salmon Salad. They also have smaller sized portions - half portions - that generally are large enough for a main meal. The Rio Ranch Steak is very substantial and well done. They... More

The hardest part is deciding what to order. The menu is huge. But everything on it is excellent. In fact the omlets, which are served all day, are to die for. Prices are low. Service is good and friendly. This is a great cafe!

Tried this place based on reviews and glad we did. Only had breakfast here once but would definitely return. My wife had the migas and I had my eternal favorite of country fried steak & eggs. Not much more can be said other than that the service was great, the food in generous portions and very well prepared and a... More

I especially love their breakfasts. The variety, the large portions, and the affordable prices. Great place to take the family or friends. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, it's hard to beat the Rio Ranch Cafe for down home cooking. My church has their Mens Breakfast fellowship here every month. Give it a try. You'll be glad you did.😋 Enjoy.

Small in size but not in service, portions or taste! My friend had the Rio Ranch Nachos, chips piled with fajita chicken, avocado, refried beans, guacamole, sour cream and a fresh pico de gallo and I had Martha's Tacos, consisting of corn tortillas filled with fried crispy shrimp, house cole slaw, cheese, guacamole, and buffalo sauce. This and some other... More

I have eaten here more than a few times. It has never disappointed me. The chicken salad sandwich is the best.

We just discovered this place a couple of months ago when in Kerrville, and it is becoming one of our favorites there. We have only eaten breakfast there so far, but it is fantastic. Good prices, large portions, friendly staff. A good old time diner/café feel. Looking forward to having lunch there.
