The John Wayne is the way to go. Prefer it without the cheese and grilled onions. Great steak fries.

This little gem is a real find. The hoagie sandwiches, hot or cold, are a far cry better than your average sandwich shop! Oh sure, you pay a little more, but it's so worth it. We like the Anne Okely turkey hoagie with cheese, tomatoes, sauted onions and papers. We get ours hot, because the heat really accentuates the flavor... More

The best sandwich shop in the south Houston area. They also serve a mean spaghetti and meatballs, and lasagna. Usually a half order of either will fill you up, but for the hearty appetite, order a full order! The other secret to this quaint shop is every Friday night they do steaks. Again, a half order is filling, a full... More

Popped in for a quick lunch, not expecting much. Had the catfish poboy and the wife had the shrimp poboy. My son had the BLT. All were very good. Service was good. Ambiance was rustic and well broken in.

This place is really unique. Just like eating in a western plus museum. Great food great service. reasonably priced. Finally got a chance to stop in. I guess Friday nights they have steak dinners. Get there early around 5 cause they run out fast. They little restaurant is now one of my go to places.

Hoagies are better than average as is a steak for 2. Service seems a little stand offish at this locals favorite. This iconic place is filled with memorabilla to the point of being cluttered. I'm not a regular so I can never get a handle on when they are open. Still, food is good.

Love this place! If you want to try the best Pastrami or Reuben this is the place. Homemade bread to die for. Best Cream Cheese Jalapeno poppers ever! If you leave hungry its your own fault. We always take friends and family and all request to go back when visiting!

Several years ago I decided to try the Hoagie Ranch. I'd lived in the area for a decade, had heard good things about the Hoagie Ranch, but somehow managed to never visit. That was my loss. The Hoagie Ranch is by far my favorite place to eat! We stop in for lunch a couple times a week and for dinner... More

Hoagie is a fantastic LOCALrestaurant. If you are looking for where the locals eat you have found the place. Janice and Jim are wonderful people and when you walk into their restaurant you feel like you are at home. Friday night is steak night but once it's gone it's gone so get there early. Jim's whole steak is plenty to... More
