We like the sandwiches here. The Steak Night Special is good but the over cook them. Potato and salad are extra.

Get the a John Wayne. It is one of the best Philly's I've had . I'm a local and love to go here !! The place is full of old nostalgia stuff as well which is interesting in its on right. The outside does not impress but the food does !!

There are so many great choices that I am not sure where to begin. I have always had a great meal here. If you can make it on Friday night then I would go for the steak.

We heard that they have the best steaks, but we don't eat steaks. We have another favorite; we get the Italian Stallion every time we go. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. We get the 12 inch and split it. For the sides we get their ranch fries and stuffed jalapenos. Perfect meal! As for the staff...they could... More

Quirky & eclectic to say the least! Mostly a locals hangout, but that might have changed a bit since it was featured on Daytripper TV show. I don't go there often, so "nobody knows my name". Service has always seemed at arm's length as waitresses seem to warm up only to regular customers. If you can put up with that,... More

When driving by, it looks like a little hole in the wall. Upon entering, it's a piece of history. The memorabilia is everywhere. Some fascinating stuff. The "John Wayne " was as good as any Philly sandwich I have had anywhere. It's cool that they offer 3 sizes of sandwiches rather than the usual 2, offered in 99% of other... More

The Hoagie Ranch has the most delicious subs (aka hoagies) we've ever tasted! They're called "Deli Sandwiches" on the menu. We split an "Annie Oakley" on our first visit, since we weren't hungry enough for a whole sub. (They come in several sizes- 6, 9, 12 or 18 inch.) No doubt all the food is great, but we had only... Awesome place with a great variety and friendly owners! John Wayne was delicious. Don't let the name fool you, it's more than just a hoagie shop!
