Wednesday night band and dinner

Went to Houston to pick up daughter at Airport and wanted something good to eat for Supper....... T-Bone Toms didn't dissappoint. We both had chicken fried steak and then since it was a Wednesday night at 6 pm came the free concert. So we chose to eat in Tom's Backyard with tge fans and the music you would not of thought it was July and your outside. The food was great, Band Great, and our server was amazing........ If you get a chance to visit them and enjoy the food

Heard about TBones from dinner drive in and dives we have driven bye this place several times but never stopped until Guy said it is a must. We agree the brisket armadillo eggs yummy very different take on them. We all had the chicken fried steak and steak fingers. Let me tell you really large portions of everything. The potato salad didn’t disappoint and the fried okra was really fresh not frozen. This place is good old hospitality Brenda was GREAT!! If you want Texas cooking this is the place

A BBQ just over the bridge into Kema

This is quite an interesting place. The BBQ is really good. The home made sausage and the chicken are excellent. The sides are great. The portions are designed for giants--it is tough to eat all of it. Most of the people have doggy bags! The ambiance inside is decent. The curb appeal is not great, but the parking is abundant and easy to use. The construction on the road us a pain, but ignore it. The service is excellent. This is going to be our "go to barbby place" for a fast, good and reasonably priced meal. You can't miss here! They sell a gallon of gumbo for $35, if you call ahead. Such a DEAL!

We had lunch here with some friends. My quesadillas were very good and my husband’s pork chop dinner was, too. Our friends insisted we try the armadillo eggs which sounded very interesting, Personally, other than the novelty of the name, don’t bother. Service was efficient.

We used to love this place but this time the portions were smaller and the prices were higher. Armadillo eggs up by $2. TRIKE sandwich was the size of a kids burger. Kids meal literally had 5 french fries and an overcooked corn dog. 1 turkey sandwich 1 trike 2 kids meals armadillo eggs was over $60.

Dinner is excellent outside with entertainment

We really do like this place! It delivers well at all meals we have consumed here. The outside area is very large and popular--with a happy hour. The entertainment is quite good for the 2 times we have been outside The appetizers are huge. You can make a meal out of the, and they are tasty. The Thai pepper stir fry is absolutely great. It is made with a prime beef that they sell to patrons to prepare on their grills. They prepare it perfectly and you will get 2 large sides with it. This is an easy place to find on 146 just over the southbound bridge. Parking is easily accessed from the highway

Has an amazing, friendly atmosphere. The best meat I’ve ever eaten; the brisket was beyond exceptional. Our server was very friendly and knowledgable about the best items on the extensive menu. 100/10 without a doubt would and probably will come again!

Great atmosphere

Everyone at this place was just happy! All ages, walks of life....and just happy. Live music, outdoor seating, full bar and great prices!! I did think the sausage and beef were a little dry, and you aren't fooling anybody with "home made" potato salad. Pair that meat with some of the best BBQ sauce I have had and I call this a winner!

Must stop!!! DELICIOUS, we'll be back!

OMG, so glad we finally took the time to stop here on the way to Galveston. Husband had the DDD 14 oz. marinated rib eye. He usually doesn't eat that much beef at one time, but ate every single bite. I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans (one of their specialities). It was the best CFS I have had in years and I don't eat it too often. Thin, lean steak with a light, perfectly seasoned batter where you get steak in each bite instead of chunks of batter with no meat. I chose the brown gravy over white cream gravy. Both meals were served with choice of two veggies and TX toast too. We also got a side of potato salad for the next day since it was noted as a speciality. Potato salad took me back to my mom's old-fashioned potato salad. Perfect balance of mayo, mustard with tiny chopped up pieces of celery, egg and green onions. Wish I had some now, it was very good! We will be back each trip down to the coast or Houston area. P.S. Don't think this place is out of the way going S to Galveston. We always avoid going thru downtown Houston now due to traffic. Check your options and take the loops down and around to T-Bone Tom's then straight down 146 to I 45. A stop there and it was only 32 mins. to Galveston with full tummies :) Near the Kemah Boardwalk and marina too, which is a fun day!

Doesn't disappoint.

I live just 5 minutes down the road and have never been here until RocknClassics Music School gave a performance today that my grandboys were in. I'd been wanting to try it and decided to try several things I usually crave. I ordered the Hamburger Steak, steak fries and onion rings. Wow! The hamburger steak tasted just like steak! Not just a hamburger patty like most places. This hits all the buttons! No fat, no gristle, easy to cut, large portion and cooked just right. I couldn't believe the steak flavor. It's a great alternative for little kids that want a steak and people like me who don't want to fight with our food. The unique steak fries are wonderful (like Disneyland's) and onion rings are actually homemade. I won't be wasting my money at other places. The kid's meal portions were plentiful and the grilled cheese was actually a homemade grilled cheese😋. Not some plastic cheddar on artisan bread. Brian, our server, was very attentive and friendly. We appreciate they allow the music students to come perform, it's a great experience for them and creates lots of good memories.🥰 This is my favorite go-to from now on.😊

First time dining at this restaurant. We ordered the 3 meat dinners in order to sample multiple meats and everything was delicious . The portions were large. We ate dinner on the patio. Service was excellent and friendly.

Watched a server take the wrong plate to a customer's table. Once the mistaken had been noticed and customer had taken a bite from the plate it was removed and sent to the correct table. I spoke with two managers about the issue and offered to pay for the table's ticket $70.00. The managers didn't seem to overly be concerned with the whole issue. Never again T-Bone Tom's.

When the restaurant is frequented by locals, you can be sure it's good. And that is the case. Cozy and picturesque atmosphere, with various decorations enhancing the Texan spirit. Quick and polite service. The food is very good. The meat and all the accompaniments were cooked and juicy. Fair price and not expensive. Highly recommended!

Simply delicious!

So glad we came here! Our waiter was super attentive and amazing! The food was delicious and we loved the laid back atmosphere. They have lunch specials every day and a happy hour that includes drinks and appetizers. We also had a delicious chocolate pie for dessert! The portions are definitely worth the price...we will be back!

Not happy on father's day

We had six people only one had good food Chicken fried steak skimpy on gravy and the batter had no seasoning. Onion rings nasty. Granddaughter got kids ribs and one bite and asked for something else didn't like taste. The brisket and ribs plate brisket cut to thin no flavor the ribs too salty no smoke.
