We met family here that lived close. Fish was very good. Very large pieces. Cole slaw was terrific. I had baked potato, my husband had fries. Both were really good also. Hushpuppies tasted and looked more like churros than hushpuppies.

We have waited for the 12 o ' clock tour here . The restaurant opens at 11.00 , but we have been let in before 11.00. Nice friendly service. We sat in a booth at a window and could have a good glimpse on the Caddo Lake, or one of the side arms. We enjoyed the food which was very... More

Wife and I were camping at Lake of Pines for the 4th weekend and it was HOT on Sunday so we decided to ease over to Karnack and this great restaurant while we were only 22 miles away. It's 62 miles from our house. We had been here before but not in several months. The place is like a step... More

It was a pretty day so we rode out to Big Pines and arrived for lunch before a big crowd hit. The kids enjoyed pizza and popcorn shrimp for their lunch. The wife and I got blackened catfish and shrimp. The blackened catfish was really tasty! The coleslaw and hush puppies was pretty good too. The temp was just right... More

Caddo lake is breathtakingly beautiful. Having lunch at Big Pines Lodge gives you a chance to watch the wildlife while having great food right on the lake. The fish was cooked perfectly. It was white and flakey. The coleslaw, hush puppies, onion rings, and fried apples were to die for. This is a great place. The general manager answered all of... More

Right on the bayou. Wife and I sat outside and we both enjoyed a good catfish plate. If you don't care for catfish the menu also has burgers and such. Nice cold beer while watching the boats go by on a Sunday afternoon. Worth our trip down and we will be back!
