Wonderful, old west sale barn atmosphere! Friendly, curteous and professional staff. Meatloaf, turkey, chicken fried steak, catfish or pork chops complimented with all the usual homemade country sides.... Our meat loaf and turkey plates were very tasty...perfect Sunday dinner...what more could a man ask for? Homemade pies...ours were Key lime and chocolate cream...secret ingredient included something that made me want... More

It's next door to the Mule Barn and is in a former car dealership. Home cooking sounded good for lunch and the building was calling my name to see how they repurposed it for a restaurant. It is your typical Texas cafe menu with chicken fried steak of course. I ordered that with cream gravy. It was good overall. My... More

A friend told me about this traditional non-chain restaurant. We had western omelette, with hash browns and a side of bacon. Totally worth going if you are around!!!!

The wife and I stopped at the Lonesome Spur by chanch - It is not a flashy place but the parking lot was full. The was O.K. clean except for the chairs we sat in - they were just about comfortless and had food wiped from the table on them - Service was fast and friendly - We both ordered... More

Bring a hardy appetite. This place has THE best western omelette & it's huge. Friendly staff, good cup of coffee. And best biscuits & gravy. All around fantastic. If you are looking for down home mom & pop, this is the place. I have eaten here many times over the past two years-never disappointed.

We love finding the places along the side of the road. On a random Friday night we found Lonesome Spur. We loved it! It's country cooking with the kindest waitstaff ever! We had the Cajun Philly and fried corn. We will definitely be coming again!

The Lonesome Spur is my favorite local restaurant for breakfast! The Spur attracts locals and visitors alike. On any given morning one can see a parking lot full of vehicles as locals enjoy generous meals at VERY reasonable prices served by friendly staff. The breakfast specials will start your day off right with a full stomach and a smile on... More

I've had three meals here. All three were very good. Decent service and nice people. It's what I would call a "greasy Spoon" restaurant. If you're in the mood for some good Home Cookin', then this is your place. But you'll walk out with a few extra calories. But sometimes, that's just what I want. A nice home cooked country... More
