This was a nice stop. We're in a 28 ft RV towing a Jeep and there was plenty of room in their parking lot for us. The food was good. They have a salad bar and buffet. The buffet isn't big but the food on it was excellent. It was less than $9 for the salad bar and buffet. We... More

We ate a buffet style fried fish/shrimp dinner. We got there at the very end of the buffet but the meal was still pretty good. It's kind of pricey, $18.99 per person. Check your ticket. We got charged for 5 buffets instead of 4 but I caught it. They cheerfully refunded my money. Very accommodating.

Heve eaten here several times for the Fried Catfish ! It is very good, not too much coating, crispy on the outside, tender and moist on the inside. I had the Sr. portion which included 4 large pieces, a salad and choice of a second side, which also came with Texas Toast and Hush Puppies for 6.99 !! What a... More

A wonderful little stop. We were surprised by the full menu, buffet, and over the top sincere Texas service. As a bonus the baskets come with a side of gravy! Pure lunch heaven.

Great country breakfast in the small town of Jewett, TX. CJ's Kountry Cookin' is outstanding. Good and friendly service goes with generous portions of eggs, bacon, ham, sausage and pancakes. Omelets were also great.

Amazing steak fingers and onion rings!!! Everything is breaded here, and you can totally tell. So good! And two regular sized adults can share one basket.

On a drive home from a great weekend away we happened upon this gem just as everyone was wanting a late lunch. We all opted for the buffet that had many selections to choose from, and we did! Everything was just delicious and that includes the ice tea. The service was perfect and the smiles were many. Can't go wrong... More

While traveling through Texas, my daughter and I were tired of fast food and stopped here for a late lunch on New Years Eve. The waitress had brought coloring books and crayons from her own home which she offered to my two granddaughters. My daughter ordered a burger with grilled mushrooms, which CJ actually went to the store and bought,... More

Cj's has the best rings I've ever had. They're served w/ a side of ranch dip but the rings are spectacular on their own. The staff is friendly and the food is always good. We are repeat customers and have dined there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We've never been disappointed.

My husband & I ate here on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30pm. When we arrived it wasn't too crowded. We asked the waitress to give us a few minutes & it ended up being about 10 minutes. Then, it took at least 20 minutes to get our order. The food was good. I noticed that a lot of people came... More
