We went for dinner. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. After ordering, expect to hear lots of microwaves and convection ovens heating up the food. It is a tiny place and what we did have was very good!

Visiting Jefferson for my mom's birthday. On our first day, we had a late lunch and luckily found the Austin Street Bistro. Put this Bistro in any large city or little town and they would have success! Lovely service and a great lunch! The tomato basil soup and chicken salad sandwiches hit the spot! We would come back again anytime!... More

At our inn keeper's suggestion, my husband and I meandered into the quaint & homespun Austin St Bistro. We ordered entrees that came with a bread course and a sinner salad. The bread was interesting, and since the server didn't describe it, I'll do my best: first let me say it was yummy (because I think my description will sound... More

☆☆☆☆☆ Most excellent, recommended to us by our host at our B&B. The house salad, served with homemade focaccia was wonderful. We had the shrimp scampi, and frittata served with roasted potatoes, both excellent dishes. We took dessert, pecan tart with chocolate carmel topping to go, to die for. Great service, gracious Chef/owner. Highly recommend!

We had lunch here and the food was exceptional. We had the mushroom bruschetta along with some salads and it was to die for!

Start off with an amazingly tasty salad and the best restaurant bread I've ever eaten. The hard part will be deciding on which entree. I got meatloaf and potatoes. Outstanding. Save room for the blueberry and pear cobbler. The atmosphere was amazing because of great background music.

We stayed in a local B&B in Jefferson for a 3 day weekend a couple of weeks ago and dined at all the local hot spots. We had intended to eat at Annie Skinners Riverboat Club but walked in a walked right back out because of the horrendous cigarette smoke (I'll save that for another review) so we walked down... More

Limited seating, personal service and good food at reasonable prices. Nice size portions and everything appears to be from scratch. Tip: Don’t overlook the salads. You’ll find them delicious. In fact, several salad selections make a nice meal themselves. While the price was OK, it was on the higher end of similar restaurants. For desert, I suggest the bread pudding... More

We were looking for restaurants with gluten free food choices. The week before our visit we had emailed asking if they had such choices, as the online menu didn't specify. We still have no idea, as our email was never answered. Not good for business to ignore potential customers.

Small Bistro, staff was friendly. Sandwiches were good, had the "Pilgrim". Kids ate off the kid menu, one liked one didn't, that was expected. Little pricey, so really wasn't moved one way or the other. I'm sure if just me and the wife went experience would have been different.
