Empress of China, on Belt Line Rd in Irving, is not easy to find but worth the effort. Their food is very good and plentiful. You almost always have a box to take with you. The service is good and attentive. Be sure to try...the wonton soup.More
Stay away just spent 28 dollars on awfulness! Phad Thai so over cooked it was moush and steamed dumplings flavorless even my spring roll was terrible I took one bite and all the filling came out! Gross my dog didn't even like it
Our group met there for lunch.. they set up tables for us.. many different orders but all were hot & very good. We all like the 'chips's & soups they bring out. Do have some nice lunch specials... had a tuff time keeping our drinks...filled but finally left pitchers on table. Wait help friendly.. cleared things off as we finished & brought fortune cookies.. Pay @register on the way out & sometimes have little mints.More
Have been to this place for lunch a few times and have never been treated the way I was treated today. The owner stated the ONE female in the restaurant did not want to wait on our table because we did not tip. This was...the first time we had even seen the waitress. She has never waited on us. I have bank statements that can prove a tip has always been left. I have left a tip even when the service had been bad. This was very unprofessional coming from the owner in my opinion. Unless I'm a regular and you know for a fact I don't tip, that is something you should have never addressed. For that my whole office of co-workers will not be returning to this establishment. The tip I do have for the owner is no matter what you THINK you may know, you should always remain professional!!More
I came for lunch and didn't even get water. This is the we worst place I've ever visited. No one came to give me water or ask anything other than the lady in heels who only had time for Caucasian customers.
Realized it’s been years since I updated this, and it strikes me that in the last 6 years, this hasn’t ever disappointed me. Whether it’s eat in, take out or delivery, it’s hard to beat this place, family owned and operated [and relative to the...Howard Wang restaurants] . This is a fresh made kind of place, you’re not eating out of vats of premodern food. The lunch specials are very reasonable....silly reasonable....and a great variety to choose from. Servers have been there for years, know the dishes and are friendly and efficient. I pass by restaurants in the category to come here, I think you’ll not be disappointed here.More
