Excellent authentic Peruvian food. The Lomo Saltado and Bistec Encebollado were first class. The quality and price were great. Storefront hole in the wall but definitely worth the visit. Chicha Morada was very good. Highly recommend for a taste of Peru!

A little difficult to spot from the road.
Once inside, helpful if you know a little Spanish, otherwise point to your menu items.
Server was super friendly and helpful.
The nuts you get when seated, some type of corn, extremely tasty!!
Ordered 2 apps and main dish, 1st app brought out in less than 5 minutes...2nd brought out about 3 minutes later, immediately followed by main dish.
Food was FANTASTIC!
They do bring hot sauce...some hot and more hot.
To me it was more hot...and much more hot!!
When we arrived there was 1 other table, by the time we left...7 other tables!
When you are ready for something different...come for a visit!

Stopped here for a late lunch and everything was delicious. We've had Peruvian food and were in for a treat with our meal. The food was very flavorful, portions were generous and the gentleman that served took excellent care of us. My only issue was that this restaurant isn't closer to my house. Try it, you won't be sorry.

If you like chicken then you will LOVE this place!! You might think that baked or rotisserie chicken is the same everywhere but let me tell you this place is DELICIOSO!! The owner/waiter is a super nice guy who is always eager to serve and make sure u feel comfortable at his place. The Authentic Peruvian food here is awesome!!! Their ceviche and pollo a la brasa (rotiserrie chicken) is a must have!! They usually have great deals at groupon so check that out and also have live music during the weekends. If your a futbol (soccer) fan they are most likely playing the games on their tvs and if not they dont mind finding it for you. Great alone but better in a group or family as they have family deals that include 1 whole chicken a large salad and what seems like 2 lbs of french fries haha also a nice place to pick up peruvian candies and sodas and other things like carpets and other goods made from Alpaca fur 🐑 lol

I went for lunch with coworkers on a friday. The restaurant is located in a suburb. It is decorated with a lot of Peru traditional images. Service is very good for having one man doing everything in the front. Food is delicious and it imports authentic ingredients from south america. I had Bistec a lo Pobre which is mrat with fries, fried banana, and rice. My friends had Chicken, and Ceviche which were both good.

This is another small restaurant in a strip mall, common to Irving. This one has a large dining room with tables for large groups as well as more intimate dining for couples. It was very clean and decorated in the usual South American style found in many ethnic places. We were seated immediately and served a bowl of roasted salted corn. Yummy! I believe the server was also the owner, he did not speak fluent English and tried to discourage me when I ordered a dish he felt I would not like or was out of season, I did not know which...My companion and I ordered appetizers in order to get a fair sampling of the food. We ordered the Tamales and the Anticuhos, We were not disappointed. The single tamale was huge, filled with chicken, egg, and black olives, my only complaint is that for sharing the filling was not evenly distributed so everyone did not get the full tasting experience. The "cooked corn dough" was so delicious I did not mind missing some of the filling. The Anticuchos, grilled slices of beef heart was surprising tender and the two skewers with potatoes with corn were more than enough for two people.
Indeed we were too full to order our entree, the highly recommended dish,Lomo Saltdo (Carne o Pollo). A friendly, obvious frequent patron ordered this and it looked wonderful. She told us that it was truly a taste of home. The dish was large enough to serve two or three people and came with French fries. Having been to Peru I was familiar with their love of potatoes, in any form, often served with rice. My mother would have shaken her head at the combination, try it anyway, it's good.
I am planning on returning as soon as possible. Great food, nice ambiance and I enjoyed the no need to rush to eat and leave attitude typical of South American restaurants. Go with friends, enjoy a native drink, share the abundant dishes and just sit and visit a while.

This is a very simple restaurant, but don't let the appearance to mislead you! My wife and I loved the food, the service and the atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable and the food is very well seasoned and, in our opinion, very close to (if not the same as) homemade food. As an extra, the day we went there they also had live music.
Can't wait to go back there to try other dishes!

Just got home from El Tesoro after dining with Peruvian missionary friends and Paul and Deb. They agree that this food is just like being back in Peru. Ate "Papas Relleno", "Lomo saltado", "Arroz Chaufa", Ceviche de Pescado", and "Parihuela". What an experience. It is a great benefit to know a little spanish, as the owner knows a little English. Had a great time. Family friendly. Tv showing Peruvian videos of Machu Pechu, and much more.
