The food was good. Sigara Borek and Felafel as two shared appetizers. Diner Kebab Plate for main course. Service was a little slow; they apologized and I had noticed the “Help Wanted” sign of the times as we entered. Friendly, good food, … pondered a four or a five rating. It was pleasant and tasty, but not outstanding or memorable; a strong 4 in the end.

Rose Tea is amazing. This unique specialty beverage by Sean (Cee-Ahn) is a must try delicacy. Our family has been coming here for many years. Their food and service never disappoint and keep us coming back again and again.

I walked across the parking lot from my hotel and was pleasantly surprised by Zeytin. The service was really great. I had Falafel as an appetizer with Hummus. The Falafel was excellent, the Hummus was a little bitter. I had the Beef plate and it was fantastic. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service provided by Sean, my waiter. I would recommend this as a casual dinner spot with enjoyable ambiance.

Stopped here as I was looking for good Mediterranean food and the reviews looks good. The menu is a mix of Mediterranean and Indian combined (think butter chicken).
I ordered hummus which tasted more like Baba ghanoush. I also ordered shush kabob and the menu said they could offer sandwich and fries for $3 less than the platter. I ordered that and they said they can’t do that. They can charge me for the platter and put it in a sandwich if I wanted. That made no sense to me. The shush kabob was just ok. I am usually not a rice fan but this rice was excellent! I ordered a drink and baklava as well. I was going to take my dessert with me so I asked for a to go cup and the guy started to charge me for a new drink and said they charge for to go cups.
This place wants to be fine dining with sit down seats but you have to order at cash register and pay first. Again I think they are confused at what they want to be.
I would not come back here.

Our family visited for lunch. We were really looking forward to it, as we’ve spent a lot of time in Turkey over the last 20 years, and are well familiar with the warmth and hospitality of the Turks.
Unfortunately, the gentleman who took our order was cold and barely said a word to us - not even hello or thank you. We spoke some Turkish to him hoping he might understand and return the conversation, but he did not. He didn’t even acknowledge whether he spoke Turkish or not, nor did he make eye contact. Sadly, after our time in the restaurant watching him interact with other patrons, it was disappointingly obvious he had a bias for everyone else.
The lunch menu was limited. The plates and bowls seemed mostly identical in content, sans a slight difference in portion size. The plate was laid out as expected, and the bowl had everything piled together in a take out container.
As for taste and preparation, the chicken shish was really outstanding - juicy and well seasoned. The gyro meat was dry. The pilaf was wonderful and light and airy. The salad was nicely dressed. The homemade bread could use more salt. I would have loved to have seen some classic Turkish mezes and zeytinyağlı dishes on the menu for lunch, including pide or lahmacun, or something special off menu.
Incidentally, the same gentleman didn’t bring us silverware when he served our meals. When I asked, he pointed to another table’s silverware and waved for me to get up and grab it myself. When we were finished, I passed him on the way out and told him thank you and goodbye. He said absolutely nothing. It wasn’t a gender issue. He was very nice to other females.
So would we patron Zeytin again? I’m on the fence, but leaning no. I’m curious about their dinner menu, but I can’t say I’m enthusiastic about spending our money somewhere where we’re made to feel so unwelcome.

I travel often in Turkey and Lebanon. I use to eat Kebab and Houmous quite often. This time it was not good at all : the meat was dry without taste. The Houmous was bitter. The presentation of the Zeytin Kebab speciality was bad. Moreover it was a mix of cold and warm pieces. Maybe I did not come the right day. The positive things are the welcome, the terrasse and the Ayran drink.

Doordash delivery was fast and courteous. The food, however, was mediocre at best. We ordered 2 greek salads add Doner. Falafel, Gyro and Ayrean drinks. 50 bucks. The salads were bland, the Doner thin strips, like shoe leather and no seasoning of note. Maybe this was an off nite, but I wasn't at all satisfied. I highly recommend the Greek Bakery in Bishop Arts by comparison. I'll give Zeytin another try, but the prelims are not motivating. 1 star, folks.

Pretty boring menu, average quality entree, salad was fresh, complementary tea was not good. Average prices. I don't think I will be back.

We went without recommendations other than our fondness for Mediterranean food. Our greeting was friendly. Our counter experience (You have to order at the counter.) was less friendly because we didn't know the ropes and the man seemed to have little interest in teaching us. At one point, he mentioned something not on the menu we had in our hands (?) because "we have two menus." (What is that?) He seemed overly aggressive and impatient.)
The food was delicious! Our Mexican waitress and the other Mexican employees were friendly and accommodating. Wonderful bread; wonderful hummus; wonderful curry.
I would like to go again.

Wonderfully tasty grilled-to-perfection selection of Mediterranean-style meats and seafood, abundant Greek salad, delicious super fresh Babba Ghanoush, Tzaziki, and hummus served with hot fresh pita bread. Dining on the patio overlooking the river was truly a lovely culinary experience!

My son has a visible obvious disability and we were turned away with his service dog! The owner said he did not care if it was illegal to turn us away but he hates dogs and would not allow us in!

This was my second visit to this restaurant. The first was so memorable, I had to return. My co-worker and I flew into Dallas and drove straight from the airport to this restaurant for dinner. They did not disappoint. It is beautifully decorated, clean, warm and friendly. They were in the process of baking fresh pita in the brick oven when we arrived. It smelled like heaven. I explained to the manager that we can straight from the airport. He prepared us fresh brewed tea -- It was warm, floral and sweet without sugar - very nice. I ordered the Falafel plate and it did not disappoint. The Falafel was perfect, rice was light and fluffy, hummus was so creamy and smooth, tzatziki sauce was tangy, fresh pita was warm right out of the oven. When I return, this will again, be my first stop! Perfection on a plate.

Food has always been good. I am not a new customer to this restaurant. But what I am about to report are facts and as follows:
I called in my order and told the lady that I have specific diet (no hot spices) d/t my health condition and GI delicate issues. I requested changing gloves before touching food for packing to avoid cross contamination. Lady acknowledged. When I reached the place, the cook/help was packing my food. I did not see her change into fresh gloves, instead she touched/opened the side cabinet/freezer multiple times and touched the pita bread with the same gloves.
I requested her politely saying that I am on Chemo medications, and it is really nice if she could change gloves before touching my food and I meant no disrespect. In fact, they ought to do this even if the customer does not request. Being a healthcare provider myself, I am aware of what lingers on door knobs and surfaces.
To this she said "I am already wearing gloves, it is ridiculous to expect to change gloves just to pack food" and then she refused to pack my food!! "I'm not doing it" she said. The lady who took my order completed the task.
I went to the restaurant because I craved for pita and hummus and lentil soup that my stomach agrees to. I went at a time when they were not busy (4:30 p.m.). I am very disappointed that a good restaurant cannot hire and retain responsible staff. Not being knowledgeable about germs/bugs in one thing, but outright refusing the curtesy when customer requested nicely is totally arrogance and burnout. No excuse when you break big rules. Hope this helps some while choosing your restaurants wisely.

There aren’t a great deal of Eastern Mediteranean style restaurants in the DFW area, but I must say this one is pretty darn good for a fast casual dining atmosphere.
We came for the first time for a late lunch. There was a buffet that was very reasonably priced at $12.99 including your beverage. What a spread! Regular and spicy hummus, Babaghanoosh, dolmas, pesto pasta, seasoned chickpeas salad, pasta salad, potato salad, tabouli, Jerusalem salad, four other salads, roasted zucchini and carrots, roasted cauliflower, eggplant pomegranate which was thin sliced eggplant flash fried and dipped in a molasses pomegranate sauce - my favorite, two kinds of gyro meat, Kafta, kibbi, fresh broiled fish, and many other items. Oh and hot home-made pita bread. Sooo good! They kept everything fresh not like many places that just let it sit forever and mix it from time to time. The hot stuff is prepared as necessary.
Also friendly servers who are helpful with explaining the food. Indoor and outdoor seating. I’ll be back for sure. Great value.
