I love coming to Cafe Medi whether going inside or picking up an order to go. Everyone is always pleasant and friendly. The food is scrumptious too. Just a falafel snack today but the taste is amazing and enough pita for 2 meals!

There were four of us, including a picky teenager, and someone on a Keto diet. And yet, we all found good food, and enjoyed ourselves. I don't like eggplant, yet love a good baba ghanoush, and the one served here is excellent. The lamb chops...(not on the menu but available, just ask) were delicious, rare, no awful mint stuff to ruin them. The potatoes with them were great, the green beans, so so. Also on the table were kebabs, a cheeseburger, souvlaki chicken, fresh salads, and some spanakopita. MMMMMM Desert was definitely not Mediterranean--but a nice limoncello mascarpone mouse cake. We met one of the owner/managers, our waitress was attentive without hanging around, and very willing to answer questions, and to help the teenager find something to eat. If you are in Hurst, it's worth a visit.More

They make everything fresh and we have never had a disappointing meal in 10+ years over probably 75 visits. This is a go to place for me and my family.

My wife and I went there on a Sat. night wanting to try it out for the first time. It was busy but there were a few tables available. While walking in, we were not greeted as there was no hostess at the front. A...woman came up later and asked if we want a booth or table, we said a table and she walked away. She moved two tables from each other and we walked over to the area, but she said nothing else to us and we were left wondering what to do because she never cleared off any tables. Finally, I asked her which table she wanted us at and she pointed at one, not really giving the impression she wanted us there. A few minutes later, that same woman was walking to several other tables to visit with the patrons, not once did she come to our table and ask how the food was. I assumed she was the manager but I wasn't sure. Next was the food, it was average but we've had better at other places. The atmosphere is dark and felt somewhat dirty and dated, but the server was amazing and very friendly! That was the bright spot of the whole experience at Cafe Medi. When we walked out, there was a server and the lady who showed us to our table texting on their phones and didn't even say 'thank you for coming', it was a very weird experience and we don't plan to eat there again.More

Finally had dinner here with a friend. BYOB is a great thing. We tried the chargrilled 1/2 chicken. The portions are huge and delicious. The pita bread is wonderful. Our server was extremely attentive and we enjoyed the experience. Will be back!!

We did not make reservations, so it's not required. Of course, if you have a large party, it's always a god idea to call ahead.
