Jen W gave us such good service. The food came out quick and was delicious. The menu was huge. Jen suggested I get the sautéed zucchini and chicken and I switched out the beans for the creamed spinach. It was so good! A friend got...More

The complementary chips and salsa trio are always fresh and bowls are kept full. You can also request a larger bowl of the salsa you prefer. When choosing side dishes, I highly recommend the papas con chile (mashed potatoes with cheese and peppers.) All of...More

The restaurant name is a Spanish word that has been Americanized, which is odd, however there is nothing wrong with the food. The chips were fresh and the three salsas gave a variety of choice. My beef enchilada was good. You don't always have to get...More

Rather than compete with the Valentine crowd, we went on Monday. Food and service is always very good. I ordered the Pescado Guerro and my wife Brocheta De Filete (filet medallions). You cannot make a bad choice here.

new location is nice; still tends to be loud because of all the stone (no sound absorption); have never liked their queso - it's white and watery. Upscale Tex-Mex, nice atmosphere but I prefer tastier, "homey" mexican restaurants.

Real Mexican food is a feast for the senses. From colorful peppers to the sounds of sizzling fajitas all the way to that incredible flavor. Each mouthful is just as much a result of the freshest ingredients as it is a result of the chef's expertise. Abuelo's offers diners the opportunity to experience real Mexican food, combining authentic, made from scratch classic dishes with the rich, subtle flavors of coastal and interior Mexican cuisine. Our executive Chef Luis Sanchez has spent decades perfecting our menu, and we boast a wide selection of wood-grilled fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, chile rellenos or Abuelo's unique House Specialties (depending on your location). To compliment your meal, our expert bartenders are masters at crafting signature favorites, including a wide variety of margaritas and swirls. Whatever the occasion, we'll stop at nothing to make your time at Abuelo's a memorable dining experience.
