I live in Austin and while there are a smattering of Japanese restaurants they are slightly annoying to me because they've either gone uber-hipster, too busy, or too expensive. I had called a couple of different places in Houston and we were able to get...More

We had a great Sunday lunch at this place. The BEST dumplings! We also loved the spicy edamame and the Korean chicken wings. Service was fantastic! Parking isn’t a problem on Sunday.

Loved this place especially the bright wall designs. The food was amazing and really hit the spot. I really enjoyed the Ramen, the poke, bacon fried mochi and the fries topped with bonito, Japanese curry sauce and poached egg. Really good service.

Dined on a wet December 26 th and although we had booked ahead we were not surprised that the restaurant was quiet. We enjoyed a variety of starters including the seaweed salad, pork dumplings and pork skewers. Each of our party (5) then chose a...More

Me and my friend went here and we are vegetarian and vegan. We ordered the Izakaya edamame, which was really good.Very garlic-y which I loved. The Izakaya fries were good, but not the dip that comes with them. The 'poached egg' came on top of...More

I ordered the lunch “deal” of an agedashi tofu starter and tonkotsu ramen. The tofu was pretty good! The ramen arrived with a brick of solidified noodles in a flavorful but tepid broth, with an egg so undercooked that the white wasn’t even set. Not...More

Excellent atmosphere and food. Octopus appetizers are out of this world. Great option for dinner. Open until late (which is not that common in Houston). Overall great experience.
