Booking the 8 o'clock reservation on a Monday night was no problem even when traffic caused a ten minute delay the hotness was very sweet about it But in a restaurant with so many wonderful views, we were a little disappointed to be sat in a back section away from any Windows when the restaurant was maybe 40% full. Our... More

My wife and I recently went to Brenners on the bayou. We started with some drinks from blue bar over looking the bayou. The atmosphere outside was great because it is spaced out, so you're not fighting a crowd. Very intimate and romantic. My wife ordered the filet mignon. It was one of the best quality steaks I have ever... More

The food was amazing! Hands down the best steak I've ever had. The server was attentive but not nosy and the table we were at was very nice and cozy.

I have been several times to Brenner's, this time I decided to write a review. Go for the bayou views, nothing else. The food is average at best and bill is way over average! The service is great, the restaurant is beautiful. But why is it not possible to get a great meal, along with a great view?? It should... More

they might have good food but I will never know. I ordered the Texas breakfast. Even though the waiter warned us that food does not all come out at the same time, I expected something worth eating. My scrambled eggs were ice-cold and sloppy. When my mother-in-law asked me what the brown goo on my plate was, I had to... More

My wife, daughter, son, and I dined at Brenner's on the Bayou on Sunday evening, June 5th. Our reservation was for 6pm and we arrived a few moments early; however, was seated upon entering the restaurant. Our waiter, Richard, was FANTASTIC!!! We asked for some recommendations on wine and Richard suggested a Rombauer Vineyards, Carneros Merlot which was delightful! This... More

We had never been here before but I was looking for a nice whitetable cloth restaurant that didn't restrict me to only a Sunday brunch menu. Brenner's came through. We started with the Seafood Campechana with homemade chips. It was wonderful. We did have the obligatory Mimosa's which were better than most. We each had the Mimosa Salad and it... More

Beautiful spot to have a cocktail on the patio. One of the few places in Houston that actually has a beautiful view of Buffalo Bayou. Good drinks and extensive wine list. Great for late night cap

It is in a beautiful setting, the service is 1st class and the food excellent - Oh, and don't forget the amazing wine list. if you are looking for a high-end restaurant that... More

Old place- smelled of mildew. Waiter was horrible and condescending! They recommended a table appitizer that they charged us $120 for- we didn't know when the bill came out. When we asked how much the app was the waiter didn't even know! Once we complained he literally took off and never saw him again. The poor manager was stuck answering... More
