Indian restaurant with decent food. Ordered Chiclen Kabob and Tandoori chicken for appetizers. Chicken Kabobs came out fairly quick. Waitress did mention it will take 20 mts for tandoori and we accepted. Tandoori came with main course of Hundi chicken and Keema Naan. Hundi chicken...tasted
ok but the portion was too small for 16$. Kheema naan had no flavor or taste. It was like chewing naan with some paste filling. We also ordered the sizzling brownie dessert. It was pretty good. Overall overpriced food with smaller portions.More
Family lunch week - in the area and wanted to try a new place
Sizzler Place - Nice and cold outside - perfect weather. Obviously you would not order Non Sizzler dishes
Appetizers - Spring Rolls / Samosas - Very nice.. The surprise was that...they were just two pieces against many restarurants giving three / four / five & filling you up. .But freshly cooked / awesome +++ (extra for no wastage)
Paneer Sizzler / Vegetable Sizzler...
Before some one starts - Veg Sizzler - yes, these can be good...
The Paneer one - LOVED the Paneer.. After a long time, a restaurant that knows what Paneer means.. Soft & crisp ++
The Veg Sizzler - It was quite frankly the Gujrati Undhiya..!!! Filled to the blob - no one person could ever finish this - huge chunks of broccoli, quite a few bitter gourds, paneer not cooked well.. Honestly, at this only coz had paid a lot of money for it.. Would I touch it ever - No...
Overall - the Paneer / Spring Rolls / Samosas saved it, hence the 3*..
They should get the Veg Masala Sizzler off the menu... Even Taste Of Texas being a stakehouse serves a better Sizzler..More
Our son knows we love Indian cuisine and he brought us here, he made a spectacular choice. He asked us to trust him and let him order, another great choice on our part! We gnoshed on a lot of goodies. Papadum, masala papadum...this one is...covered with onions, tomato, cilantro and spices. Chicken tikka nachos with jalapeno were tasty....never had these anywhere else. We had regular naan, a stuffed naan and even one that reminded me of cinnamon toast...that one disappeared quick. Chicken tikka over a bed of grilled onions, chicken biryani, our daughter-in-law got some kind of lassi that was gone before I could get a good picture of it. I shared a taj mahal beer with my wife and our son got his own. A feast like no other, may be the best Indian cuisine I've ever had. Amazing service that met and exceeded the quality of the food. We will be back.More
Since Bombay Palace in Sugar Land closed, been looking for a close by Indian Restaurant. Sunday lunch time was great for service, food and drinks. Quite a few British accents!! Will definitely be back.
Good food, great location if you're staying in the Hilton by the side Southwest freeway. Great Kebabs. I loved the Lamb chops with masala on them. Naans are also good. Liked the Goat bhuna masala. Do ask for Masala on your kebabs.
We went to London Sizzler for the first time on Valentine’s Day and really enjoyed it. We ordered madras curry with chicken (which came with rice) and naan. Once he realized how spicy the curry was, my bf ordered cucumber ritha so he wouldn’t have...to eat so slowly :). Our waitress was attentive but not overbearing. They also gave roses to all the women dining that evening which was a sweet gesture.More
These guys are at the top of their game. Houston has so many restaurants. This is the one to beat. Highly recommended by friends so we went to see what this is all about. Service is top notch. Every dish we ordered (sizzler, baingan bartha,...gopi Manchuria, samosa ) was the very best.
Do not miss this one.More
