World's Best Fajitas!!!

I make sure I stop in at El Tiempo every time I am in Houston on business. They have the best fajitas in the world! I get the half pound of chicken and Filet!

Went there tonight from out of state and I have to say it was amazing. The service was excellent and the waiters were so friendly. If you want great Mexican food you need to go! Next time we are back in Houston it will be the first place we will head!

I tried this place at probably the worst possible time, as evidenced by the 90 minute wait. Met someone here at 7pm on a Saturday and we decided to put a name in and grab a drink down the street at Kung Fu. It worked out nicely though because when we got back to El Tiempo, we were next in... More

Stopped by after a long day of seminars for drinks and chips. The margaritas are great, their salsa is uniquely delicious, and the chorizo nachos and carne asada nachos are insanely delicious.

The location is vert nicely decorated and has great murals of small pueblos from Mexico, the food is overall very good - however, the service is very slow. Good place to hang out if you are not in a hurry.

I have both taken clients and been taken as a client to El Tiempo over the past couple months. The location is close enough to the Galleria to be convenient, but far enough that it doesn't fill up with the Galleria lunch rush. The food is prepared well and they have good flavors. They however only get 3 stars from... More

We waited over an hour for a table and had very mediocre queso while waiting. Once at the table the service was good, but food was just average. Too many other choices in town. Won't probably be back here any time soon.

It cost us U$86 before tip for two for 2 plates of fajita's and 4 margaritas. The food is excellent, the drinks average, service excellent, and the valet parking is free. It seemed pricey to us, even ignoring the brutal Canadian exchange rate, although we found that whenever we ate in well rated Texas restaurants. To be fair you do... More

This is my favorite TexMex spot in town. The green sauce they give you with the chips and salsa is delicious. The green rice that comes with the fajitas is tasty and unique. The tortillas they have are light and very good and the meat with the fajitas is moist and delicious. Make sure to try it out.

Looks like they have quite a few locations in Houston. Thought I would try it out for the first time but not that impressed. Salsa has that fire roasted wang to it that does not taste good anywhere to me besides Uncle Julios because they seem to have it down right. I am just not into fire roasted flavor of... More
