This is the perfect place to go when craving some Caribbean food or feeling homesick. From the bread placed on tables to the guava dessert, this place honors Caribbean tradition. It also has everything for every taste: good portion appetizers, rice and beans, even fufu (very similar to mofongo). Oh, and a very delicious cafe cubano. Will definitely come back... More

Sampler plate was delicious. Yes empanada and tamale were the best. The hot sauce was very hot but super flavorful. Nice Cuban sandwich. Desert selection was adequate and all were delicious.

I used to go this place when it was a small cafe in a strip center. Now they have a large restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant with a large patio. The service is slow during lunch time, but the food is worth it. I haven't had a single bad item there yet!

Moved here from Florida and miss the cuban food. Whenever i really gotta have some, this is the place to go. Not quite my moms cooking but close enough! They have just about every Cuban dish on the menu

Must confess never been to Havana. But Cafe Piquet has that kind of ambience and that kind of feeling like it's another country. The Outdoor Patio is very transcendental. The food and service seem authentic and very good. Especially the rice and black beans. The entres and Cuban sandwiches are very tasty and even our picky children ate everything. Prices... More

We had the Fried Whole Red Snapper with rice and beans. They call it "Pargo" at this Resturant whereas in Puerto Rico, that call it "Chillo". Be that as it may, if you are seafood expert, you will know that this mode of eating fish, the whole fish, I.e, the head and the tail, is the only true methodology. The... More

My whole family got together and we all went to Cafe Piquet. The food is always wonderful there, however the black beans still taste Bland and out of a can and always have for years. Being Cuban myself, and making black beans at home of course I always get the flavor that I like and have always found it difficult... More

Place was clean, empty since we arrived at 11:15 am and they just open, prompt service but waiter spent time talking to his buddies instead of placing our order so order delayed, food was delicious and plantains were super good, I highly recommend this place to anyone, one things to note is that I was about to order a fried... My husband & I have been coming here for years. The first time I went there and looked at the menu I said "there's nothing here that I see that I would like" Being adventuresome, I chose broiled snapper and have been getting it ever since. The didn't have it this time but the striped bass was served the same... More

The ropa vieja is very good. I also like their ham croquetas and fried yucca with the garlic! Friendly wait staff.
