Two couples went for dinner on Sunday night after flight back to Houston. Service was great and excellent suggestion on wine pairing-- Malbec was great with the steak. Empanadas were very good - both beef and chicken. We had two different steak dishes and Mahi Mahi with Shrimp - all were delicious. A good reminder to get out to different... More

Paella for two was excellent, as were the desserts. The service was good and attentive without being overbearing. Sauces and lamb lollipops were very good. Definitely above average for Houston.

A really enjoyable dining experience here with a lovely bar to have a pre-meal drink. They have the best Plantains around! A great diverse and unique menu which is all reasonably priced. We've been here several times and never been disappointed. Really great service too with knowledgeable servers. We'll be back!

If it hadn't been for the menu that was confusing as to the "restaurant week" vs dinner, and the fact that the waiter said dessert was included and it wasn't, I would have given it a five start rating. The waiter was extremely apologetic but our $20 each meal turned into a $37 each meal as my friend ordered a... More

The Cordua family continue to provide outstanding Latino cuisine maintaining all their specialities such as plantains with signature dips and of course the butterflied steak.

7 of us went and enjoyed a wonderful lunch and awesome service during this restaurant month! Excellent HRM menu! The carnitas is so tender and tasty.

There are times when you feel the restaurant scene is just missing something...like when you enter a new place and it looks the same as a restaurant you frequented some time ago. This place is not one of those restaurants! The interior furnishings and graphics are truely breathtaking and for once, the food matches the scenery. One of my biggest... More

We were visiting Houston and loved this food. Very different from Florida's Sunday brunches . The restaurant decoration gives an enchanting atmosphere. We went with 3 grandchildren ages 7 to 10. They loved it and we loved the children"s price.

This is by far one of my favorite happy hour restaurants. Everything is fresh and handmade and delicious--food and drinks. If you're in Houston and looking for some reasonably priced, delicious food, check out Americas! It also has a great, warm ambiance that would make it a good spot for a date if you're looking for something like that. :)

It is nice to see a restaurant that puts effort not only in its food but also in its decor. Americas River Oaks does. It shows that it cares. From the moment you step in the restaurant, you know it is going to be a special place. Our server was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The food delicious. Being from... More
