Great experience! Started with a delicious margarita. Moved into the Chilorio which is billed as one of the top 10 tacos in Texas - I'd buy that! Delicious. Portion sizes were great. Food was delicious. Service excellent. Would definitely return if I get back to Houston!

Pico's has been around for ages...much like me. They have always provided excellent Tex Mex and that tradition carries over to their new location on Kirby ("new" is relative... they have now been there a while). Recently had lunch there after a few months absence and enjoyed both the food and the service. However, they are, in my opinion, a... More

We visited Picos for an early dinner on fathers day. The large dining area and the noisy crowd make the place quite family friendly. We started with spinach quesadillas, one of their top appetizers. It didn't disappoint. The cilantro/parsley based green sauce that comes with it makes it even more delightful. A whole roasted red snapper with garlic sauce was... More

Nice atmosphere! We went for Sunday brunch- not one of us chose the buffet after looking it over-we ordered off the menu- it was ok at best and slightly overpriced- the waiters would not give us children's menus until asked three time- they were really pushing the buffet which appeared disputing and was very overpriced!

This is a gem of Mexican restaurant. The owner is typically not only on the premises, but is the chef, cooking and supervising in the kitchen monitoring the quality of the food delivered to the table. This is "his" restaurant - it is not a chain or diluted by multiple locations. The food is varied - Pico's has food representing... More

I have eaten at Pico's many times. The food is fresh, and, more importantly, the waitstaff is mature, intelligent, and ready to serve. We had a great margarita, tasty and delicious. We also had very fresh fish, including mahi mahi and red snapper that were both perfectly prepared. The waitstaff was amazing. Every person we came in contact with was... More

Went with 5 others, and ALL exclaimed how good the food was. It was a bit noisy on a Friday night, but that didn't deter the fun. Had strolling musicians. I'd definitely go back!

Ambiance was nice, though quite energetic. Queso dip was delicious, as were the fajitas. Service was OK. Parking extremely difficult - valet really the only option, but there is no charge.
