I've eaten at Picos many times over the years from their original restaurant to the new location and we have used them numerous times at work to cater parties. The food and service is always good and the prices are reasonable.

We've always noticed how popular this restaurant seemed. During our first visit, we found out why: high-quality food, tasty menu of traditional Mexican cuisine (no Tex-Mex here), excellent margaritas, and friendly and attentive service. P.S., their red salsa is superb.

Arnaldo has truly invested time and heart into this restaurant. He has gone to great lengths to make it the most authentic food around. Someone posted a review titled 'Tex-Mex" which this is not considered. This is authentic Mexican food. Food is outstanding, no matter what dish you choose you'll be pleased! Margaritas are the best! They are not what... More

This place is better than some other Tex-Mex restaurants that are located around the area, the prices are very affordable and the food is really good, I specially prefer their green sauce with the chips they serve and they have free refills this is a very family oriented place to be at, I recommend it on the weekend where you... The chilorio is awesome! Enough to split as an appetizer, great selection of amazing Tequilas. Great outdoor seating when it's cool enough to to sit onside. Margaritas are delicious. Fantastic brunch

Ordered on a Wednesday evening before the tables really filled up and took about forty minutes to get served, and only after inquiring what had happened to our food. I am guessing my Snapper sat for a while after prep because it tasted like it. We had three different wait staff assisting our table over the course of dinner and... More

food has always been so so good. The margaritas are good and strong and the inside of the restaurant is very cool and inviting .... like you are away from the city. Dress is very casual to dress up here.

After seeing them mentioned in Texas Monthly we had to try the Chilorio Tacos and they did not disappoint . El Jefe Margaritas were good too . Service was really good and we will be back to try some of the other interesting dishes that we saw on the menu !

Great experience! Started with a delicious margarita. Moved into the Chilorio which is billed as one of the top 10 tacos in Texas - I'd buy that! Delicious. Portion sizes were great. Food was delicious. Service excellent. Would definitely return if I get back to Houston!
