Never disappoints. The real thing. If you are a fan of Artisan nouveau French, this is not your place. If you love Provence, JUMP in your car asap.

Wanting French food, we researched restaurants during Houston's Restaurant Weeks. This restaurant is located in a strip mall (as are most in Houston) in the western part of the city. We ate dinner at 6:30, and when we first arrived, there were plenty of tables available. Table were small and close together, but we discovered why by the end of... More

A great Westside dining choice for business lunch. Couples, Friends, Family. Full bar, wonderful value wine list of fine world wide selections. Menu offers game, fish, meats and vegetarian options. Mussels, Escargot, Soups for starters . Specialties are varied, try the Orange Duck or Wild Boar. Or Pork chops, Lamb. It's all fantastic. Don't don't need to be a French... More

This classic has been open since 2001, rustic country setting belies the menu that is hearty and flavorful. Had the bouillabaisse a la Marseille which was on point. The escargot was some of the best I have ever had. It is about 20min drive outside of downtown Houston but worth the drive.

The table is decorated with streamers, ribbon, & confetti if the staff is told ahead of time there is a special celebration. The food is savory and plentiful. Each table is given duck pate' with the bread service. Extensive wine menu. All 4 of us raved about the quality of our chosen meals.

We held a luncheon for 34 ladies in the back room at Bistro LeCep. We were on a limited budget yet they were able to give us a 3 course meal, with options for the first 2 courses. We were all served in a timely manner so no one was waiting around for their meal. The food was great! The... More

We always choose this restaurant for special occasions, and, as usual, we were elated. Our food was excellent and the service exemplary, always presented with a smile and desire to please. Unlike most Houston restaurants, my husband and I can carry on a conversation, because the ambiance is quiet enough. We have been coming for years, and will continue.

I'm not a gourmet. I enjoy good food and appreciate being treated as a valued individual. In the many times that I have come to Bistro le Cep the kitchen and the wait staff have delivered with high marks on all points. They offer many specialty dishes and have a broad selection of fine wines. They seem to welcome and... More

Not an expansive menu but a wide choice of entries -$14-$35. Veal is excellent. Usually have a fish of the day. Service was excellent. Good choice of wines. Try the soups.

Had lunch at Bistro le Cep last week. It was a delightful experience. Classic French food, presented well. The servers were most helpful and attentive. The food was very good. We had snails in garlic butter, avocado stuffed with crab and shrimp, scallops on a bed of spinach and braised chicken with mushrooms, onions and carrots in white wine sauce.... More
