I had the feeling that they were doing a great favor to me in serving the coffee. The coffee was good, very good indeed, and the sweeties were good as well (passion fruit dessert and a lemon pie for my wife). But the service, not really friendly at all... I will not return, it is a pity...

We've enjoyed breakfast croissants and pastries there many times. Has outside seating, excellent food and beverages, but tends to get very crowded at times, because it's small and popular. Parking in Rice Village is also a problem, but if you can catch this place when it's not crowded, it's well worth the parking search. Also serves lunch and dinner, limited... More

First time visit to this storefront cafe in Rice Village and we found great food and a friendly, communal atmosphere. Soup, salads, quiches and sandwiches were all homemade and very tasty. The tight quarters lead to the wonderful community atmosphere. Save room for the pastries and desserts!

We visited for a quick and light dinner after a day at MD Anderson which is only 1.5 miles away. The chicken salad on baguette was large and very delicious. Croque Monsouir was also good along with cafe mocha. The bread on the sandwiches is delicious, pretty sure it's made right here. They have big glasses you can use for... More

Chicken salad on a baguette can't be beat! We didn't try quiche, pasteties or coffee ... but all looked delicious! Breakfast clientelle: business types and mom's with strollers. Lovely neighborhood find!

Good French type breads and light dining while you read the New York Times... Great orange juice! For lunch they offer a good deal of Quiche, drink and soup or salad. Love their Salmon Quiche and the walnut cookies!

I've often visited with my mom for a relaxing brunch. Every time we go, we always order the tomato onion quiche and try out a different pastry. This place is perfect for a cup of coffee and peaceful atmosphere.

The quiche is fantastic and so are all the homemade pastries. I always pop in when I am hungry for bread based products. Their sandwiches are good but I'd rather experience their sweeter treat and breads. However, the quiche is a must!

Such a gem - a happy place with families enjoying croissants and miche rolls, French style. You can get a freshly boiled egg, a seven grain roll with butter and jam and fresh dark coffee to eat while reading a community-owned newspaper for a lot less than $10....very civilized, way better than fast food.....

We usually get their coffee and pastries, but they also have nice sandwiches. From the cakes I like blueberry tart, mango mousse.
