Parking can be difficult. Assuming you find a spot, be ready to order at counter once inside. Menus are to the left of the counter...drink menu and food menu located together. The Cesar salad was tasty. Burger was average. People kept to themselves. Several people on laptops, but many guests were in groups chatting. Outdoor area available too. Help yourself... More

The restaurant is a counter service style and for the apparent size of the restaurant has a ton of seating inside plus much of it out doors on a front patio and back courtyard. The coffee drinks are wonderful. We had a vanilla latte and a flavored coffee. The food is very healthy, fresh and flavorful. Omelettes, eggs, tamales, pastries,... More

We were there for a business meeting and happy hour. In the heart of the city this restaurant has several areas to eat and relax. We had a lovely red wine and were not interested in eating. What were looking for was a place to hang out without excessive noise. The Patio areas were shielded and very quiet. We ended... More

We have eaten breakfast here serval times. Wide selection at brunch with some unique options. Eggs El Salvador is served with a pupusa. The Coddled Eggs has 3 selections of what is under the eggs. My wife likes the sweet potato bacon. For a savory selection try the Avocado Toast.

You order at the counter and they bring you the food. We were all very happy with our meals. I had the breakfast eggs with sausage and potatoes. The sausage and potatoes are a cut above what you would find elsewhere This is a good place to have breakfast on the patio and then go across the street to Bond... More

So, upon entering this place, I was taken aback by how modest it was. There was artwork on the wall and a moderately sized eating area. But, there is plenty outdoor eating area! I sat outside on the back patio. There was rustic ivy and trees everywhere. It was very nature-savvy, mixed with the restaurant feel. The salted caramel cappuccino... More

First time here for sunday brunch to try something new other than my beloved Empire Cafe'. Very bad decision. The line to order was long, mainly because the bartender/waitress that was supposed to take orders was one of the most incompetent and slow servers i have ever seen in my whole life: she would look around and giggle, laugh with... A pleasant, pretty place in Montrose for a cup of coffee, a nice glass of wine, or a light dinner. I had a glass of pinot grigio which was on tap. It was pleasant but a little steep in price at $7.50 a glass. I had the pork tamale and a pumpkin tamale with a little salad.. The food was... More

My brother-in-law took us here while we were in town visiting. Very hipster but the food was fantastic. The bean burger and carrot cake were delicious in addition to the lightly breaded fish tacos. They serve beer and wine, which was an added bonus. You order at the counter and they give you a number and you take that to... More

This was Houston's first coffee bar opening in 1992. Since 1998 they serve breakfast lunch and dinner. The food is wonderfully eclectic and the spot is great for any meal. The food entrees focus on local fare and the items are all nicely prepared and served. This is a really unique and wonderful spot!
