Very delightful experience at Brennan's. It is a restaurant that still has hight standards, beginning with requesting that men wear jackets. Nice to see people nicely dressed when you are spending money for a great experience. Service and food was excellent. They do a number of old style dishes such as flambe at the table some of the main courses... More

Brennan's has always been a classic spot for a fine brunch or dinner. Don't be afraid to try their turtle soup and don't forget to order the banana foster for dessert. With its beautiful ambiance, my sister even held her wedding reception in their ballroom upstairs!

Brennan's came up with a new twist to an old favorite - a Creole High Tea. We tried out their second one and it was a delight. Held in the upstairs dining area - each table was set with a mix / match of china and crystal. For an extra $10 you can have bottomless sparking wine - ours was... More

Came here during Restaurant Week for brunch. Impeccable is not good enough. The staff is among the most professional I've encountered and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. A quartet sang harmoniously, which added to the ambience.

Missing New Orleans? Though it is not related to the Brennan's there, head to this special night out fine dining restaurant for a similar experience. Service is often top notch and food is great. Authentic NO and beyond recipes. You'll even get some parting pralines. That is enough to keep you returning here. Make reservations for certain, and let them... More

This is one of our two go-to restaurants in Houston. It is always on point with food and service. This might just be my favorite Houston restaurant.

Having a friend that has a birthday that falls during HRW we always pick a restaurant we have never dined at to celebrate. This year's pick was Brennan's of Houston and I must say we were not disappointed. We had an 8 p.m. reservation and when we arrived we were promptly escorted to a table in a small dining room... Beware NOT worth the value! Our family was looking forward to eating dinner at Brennans since we haven't been there in quite a while. My mom ordered the $99 tasting menu for two, watch out! they end up charging you more than $99. In fact the manager wouldn't tell us the reason why the tasting menu for $99 was over... More

Description
Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality. From the reservationist to the waiters, chefs and every associate behind the scenes, our team is focused on the highest standard of excellence and equally dedicated to creating enduring memories of snapshots in time: the sealing of business deals, wedding proposals, joyful celebrations, and the marking of significant milestones along life's way. And the proof is in the (bread) pudding, with loyal patrons returning time and again to create new memories.Reflecting the same warmth as our friendly greeting, each farewell concludes with Brennan's signature lagniappe: an abundance of unforgettably fresh pecan pralines.
