I treated my mom to a birthday dinner at Brennan's and boy were we impressed! The food was fantastic and the service was top notch. Bananas foster so good, make you wanna slap yo momma (sorry mom).

I had dinner here last week and it has been a while since I've dined at the New Orleans home location I have to say that this was an amazing restaurant that would rival the original. Our service was impeccable and attentive and we started with their grilled oyster appetizer which was delicious and then had the fried soft shell... More

We love Breakfast at Brennan's in New Orleans, so when we saw the brunch menu on the Houston Restaurant Weeks website for Brennan's of Houston, we were excited to try it. (Restaurant Weeks raises money for Houston Food Banks; restaurants provide special price fixed menus and donate from the proceeds of any meal from that menu). The restaurant was lovely,... More

If you live in Houston, Brennan's is a high end dining experience you have to try sooner or later. I visited during restaurant week when Houston restaurants feature fixed price menus and contribute a part of each check to the Houston Food Bank. This is a great way to get a chance to sample the menu at Brennan's without too... More

We really enjoyed our visit to Brennan's. The ambiance was very nice - we sat in a smaller room on the 2nd floor with wine bottles behind glass windows. Service was attentive and very friendly. Our appetizers were delicious although I thought the salads were a little small (isn't everything in Texas supposed to be big?). I had the pork... More

After the restaurant burned down in 2008 and was rebuilt in 2010, they have managed to maintain an old world charm especially in service and food. The restaurant is known for its Creole food .... turtle soup, fish and bread pudding. They have a large menu that will please even the pick eater. Don't wait for a special occasion ...... More

One of my favorite Houston gems to take people to for Southern hospitality and authentic creole food. Always fantastic and wows my guests. Lunch 25 cent martinis can't be beat!

It has been years since we last ate here and surprise this is Houston Restaurant Week until Sept 5. Definitely on my list to head back here before the end of August. I didn't think it was going to be busy and decided at the last minute to book a table - they are so busy that we had to... More

Description
Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality. From the reservationist to the waiters, chefs and every associate behind the scenes, our team is focused on the highest standard of excellence and equally dedicated to creating enduring memories of snapshots in time: the sealing of business deals, wedding proposals, joyful celebrations, and the marking of significant milestones along life's way. And the proof is in the (bread) pudding, with loyal patrons returning time and again to create new memories.Reflecting the same warmth as our friendly greeting, each farewell concludes with Brennan's signature lagniappe: an abundance of unforgettably fresh pecan pralines.
