Brennan's is always an excellent dining experience. We usually go Brennan's on theater night (every other month), enjoy the meal, take the shuttle to/from the theater. Service and staff interaction is very friendly. Usually the chef comes out to welcome group. Food choices are plentiful and food is always an excellent experience. Great place to go.

Brennan's is a fine dining destination in Houston that is not to be missed! I had lunch here with a group of colleagues and it was formal but not too stuffy - the perfect place for a quiet business lunch with just about any group. The dress is on the nicer side of business casual, and jackets are required. The... More

Had Sunday drinks and food in the Courtyard Bar. $7 wine was good but the $7 appetizer had only a few good items. But the $7 crab fondue was super! So were the frog legs off the regular menu. Service was abominable. The waiter was hassled and let the customers know it. We had to move from our table to... More

My business colleague and I met a customer for dinner. It was the right choice. The valet parking was convenient and the staff very welcoming. The wine selection is superb. All 3 of us had the filet and it cut like butter - one of the best I have had. Stop by and you will be treated like royalty.

We have dined here numerous times and the experience has always been good. This time the service was very slow and while the food was good it was not exceptional as we have come to expect. Even the bananas foster were lackluster and rather a yawn. We may try them again but based on tonight, Brennan's is losing their touch... More

Staff recommendations for meal and wine were excellent, so full but could not leave Brennan's without the bread pudding some of the best especially with the pecans and fresh fruit accompanying the whiskey sauce. All that being said, the very best part is the pecan pralines that are free, a huge tray by hostess station, only got one but still... More

My wife and I went for their date night cooking class. I'm doing this review on this only because we didn't eat at the normal part of the restaurant. I highly recommend this date night cooking class. It's chef Danny cooking in the room you'll be eating at. It's a 3 course meal and before they serve you he shows... More

This place is just always the same, in a good way. The food is scrumptious, the service is very good and the ambiance is top shelf. I have been going here for years. They are known for their turtle soup and bananas foster. But to tell you the truth it is all good from the Toasted French bread when you... More

Dinner here and a show at the Hobby Center= perfect evening! The food and service was just perfect. They even provide the shuttle service to the show with pralines to go! Just an awesome experience all the way around.

Description
Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality. From the reservationist to the waiters, chefs and every associate behind the scenes, our team is focused on the highest standard of excellence and equally dedicated to creating enduring memories of snapshots in time: the sealing of business deals, wedding proposals, joyful celebrations, and the marking of significant milestones along life's way. And the proof is in the (bread) pudding, with loyal patrons returning time and again to create new memories.Reflecting the same warmth as our friendly greeting, each farewell concludes with Brennan's signature lagniappe: an abundance of unforgettably fresh pecan pralines.
