We have been eating here since 1990! It is the best Thai food you will find anywhere in Houston! The Satae (A1), Spring Rolls (A4), Coconut Soup (S3), Clear noodle salad (S8), Cashew Chicken (H6), Fried Shrimp (H15), Fried Snapper (H11), and all of the curries are favorites of ours!

Several friends raved about this place. Unfortunately I didn't find it to be anything special. We waited a long time to get water. We waited even longer to get a waitress to take our order. The food came about 10 minutes later (not fast enough for lunch). We shared Tom Yum soup but it was tasteless. I had Green Curry... More

This is a small place that isn't that easy to find even with a street address but let me assure you it is worth the effort. Hands down the best Thai food we have ever eaten. The service can be spotty at lunch so get there before they open at 11:30 and get in line to be seated and waited... More

On Thursday 2-18-16 at approximately 1130, I stop by Kanomwan Thai. It was my first visit there and I was excited to visit the location. Upon entering the restaurant an lady just yelled out to seat yourself. I should have taken that as a hint because her tonality was a little rude. As a sat at my seat I observed... More

We have been eating here for years. The food is awesome, service is very good, and the best part is that it is BYOB. They will provide bottle openers and wine glasses, do not charge a corkage fee. Their green curry is absolutely fantastic.

This is the best Thai food I have ever experienced. I have been going here for over 25 years, and have never found Thai food this good in any other Thai restaurant in the country. It is not a restaurant for those solely interested in ambience, it is just great, unique food.

The Thai food is good. They allow you to bring your own wine till 8:00pm. The service is good considering it's only one waitress working on the day I went. I don't know how it would be if the restaurant was busy

The atmosphere is like a casual diner with baseball caps festooning the perimeter of the ceiling. We ordered the fish cake appetizer, a pad thai, a spicy green curry, and a cashew shrimp dish. I have eaten Thai food all over the world and have been to Thailand several times. This food was average, nothing better. Service was somewhat indifferent... More

I come back time and again for the wonderful food. It's delicious. Unfortunately the service and decor/ambiance is terrible. You can't beat the Tom Ka Gai soup and we love the shrimp with spicy red paste and cashews. The chicken version is great too. The decor is cheap and hasn't been updated for decades. There is no concern for the... More
